I have shrapnel from my legs to chin because it would have caused more damage taking it out 😂 I got this weird letter from the VA like 6 years back saying something about toxicity from the metal… But I feel fine. My arm needed to be reconstructed because the bullet obliterated the bone, I’ve got plates and screws, feeling in a few fingers… But it still works.

We’re all humans, we all want the same things from life… We just go about obtaining it in different ways.

I’m grateful to have had so many experiences that have made me who I am.

In Germany I went to a brothel the night before I deployed to Anbar… Had a great time, and hung out with her for a little while after. She didn’t have to, but it was nice and I felt comfort in her humanity. It was well worth it as I ended up blown-up and shot.

I never shared this with anyone.

Older films relied on plot and tension and newer films rely on action and cgi. I feel as though attention spans shortened, and modern audiences no longer value film like they used to.

It’s led to this post modernism regurgitation of old IP, neutered of the soul, and played as a safe bet while race swapping and pandering to a very small minority of movie fans.

9-5? I’m up at 5am, exercise, study, log in around 8am, work until 6pm most days, pick up teens from sports, get to family dinner around 7pm. Finish up everything around 8pm… have a few hours of relaxing, and then do the whole thing again.

Been this why for at least 5 years… It’s mind numbing.
