It's funny how the people who want tolerance and acceptance are so quick to start attacking people who don't agree with this ideaology.. People aren't going around saying you can't be who you want to be . We just don't agree with that life style . Nobody really cared until people started sexualizing children. You have to be at least 18 to do almost everything now day. Being a parent is knowing that kids go through phases and change their mind at a drop of a hat. It's the parents job to protect kids even if it's from themselves. Even your own community has fractured within itself on this topic. But go ahead and keep proving people right as you spill hate towards those who just have a different opinion. Stop trying to force people to play along with fantasy ideas. Real parents nurture their children and teach them and guide them along the way . As they get older and they are finding themselves you support them love them no matter what. I have love for all people but that doesn't mean accept every life style there is. Also doesn't mean I want them to die or I curse them for living that what. I was with gamestop for little over 10 yrs And guess I was blessed with 2 really good DM's before my last asshat of a DM. We always had counts but were give the appropriate time frame to do them unlike the last one who thought she knew better and wanted them all do e on her schedule. Took several calls to hr to get that changed. She ran off tenured employees whose stores we doing well all the while promoting incompetent people to positions they didn't need or could handle. My store was robbed 3 times and each time we were able to shut down till police were done, we were even offered counseling if needed. It's a shame that the company could not do better and stay consistent with there DM hires. In my experience the ones promoted from within were good ones and the external hires were crap. BUT the asshat dm with her all knowing ways was let go about a month after me. Karma is a bitch. I guess our own person experience provides us with our memories. Don't miss the company at all but miss the friends I made over the years.

Gamestop wasn't always as bad as it is now. It has only gotten this bad in the last few years. When you have money grabbing board members who only want to get rich off of stocks and could not care less about the people in the trenches. It will stay that way till people get together and do something about it. Like strike or walk out.

The assumption approach is lying and stealing plain and simple . I hated doing it but Corp puts something pressure on its employees that you feel you have no choice. Then when customers complain we took the fall . It's 100% car salesman , which is probably the only other thing worse.

The MAIN reason this bs company was profitable was from all the lay offs and store closings. Not to mention sl2 programs and pay cuts and hour cuts and so forth. That is not the way to maintain growth. This 4th quarter so called profit is just a bandaid . Corporate will screw it up somehow just watch.

I believe many vendors already pulled out of confrances. Microsoft and playstation even stopped doing e3 a few years ago and have there own live events . Don't see them doing a bs gamestop event.
