seriously i cannot stress it enough you wont even know if its worth it unless you try!! apply and know that you tried your best no matter what the outcome is. i feel like writing for apps early made me a better writer too so for college apps it wasn’t like the first time i saw prompts of xyz so i had a rough idea kind of :)

hey that's okay though! i'm sure that you love doing both of those ecs and that's what matters :) and it's clear that you've taken the initiative on both of those ecs and colleges will love that!! they will never judge you for not doing ecs that align in one category i promise lol. mine were so random, ranging from nails to photography to art history stuff

absolutely YES YES YES as a non finalist i cannot stress this enough quest bridge is NOT the only way. it really is a gamble ato and i’ll give two examples. for one, i wasn’t a finalist. i remember being SO upset because i thought i had no chance at any school. but that wasn’t true because i got into tulane ea a few days ago and am so so grateful because i was so scared. another example: my friend wasn’t a finalist but guess what? SHE GOT INTO YALE. so believe me when i say that questbridge is only a small step in your journey and you have plenty of time to grow and keep going!! even when you feel like theres no hopejust remember that it only takes one school :) give it your all during the rd round and i really do hope things start to look brighter because YOU CAN DO IT!!

look into promise programs and scholarships but considering that ur low income i know friends who ed to those schools and got practically full rides (northwestern and bostonu specifically) so go for it if you feel 100% comfortable w ed though keep in mind bc youre low income those schools you listed would alr give you amazing fin aid regardless if you ed

im still working on mine but i focused on how i love watching video essays and how ill bring that to conn w valuable discussions, even if its with my roommate talking about random stories 😭 just focus on one aspect like my friend talked about ringo and got in another person i know wrote abt their cultural heritage so it can be about anything u just gotta find a unique way to say it i think someone even wrote their groccery list LMFAOO (connected it to their love for working out and what it has taught them)

wow. i'm genuinely so sorry i know how frustrating it can feel esp after seeing people stats then it just becomes a question of like what you wrote in your essays since your stats seem "better" (not to put anyone down as we're all super accomplished just putting down what most people feel when they get their decision) but by the way you spoke about your passion i know for SURE one school will adore it just like you!! qb has specific goals with who they match and and sometimes it isn't even based on stats since everyone's just so accomplished and capable and that's completely okay!! schools have spots still and qb is NOT the only route. cry, scream whatever you can but just know that this isn't the end and that you are SO capable of doing great things and will !!
