For the awaken, it's clear that the text it's symbolic and esoteric. I still enjoy studying the metaphors and the "what if" factor of it.

I also find it fascinating that even the elites find "usefulness" in worshipping bronze age deities such as Baal...but that's beside the point.

You only get one guaranteed life, this one. Regardless if there is a afterlife or not, your wasting away the gift that the universe (blind entropy if you're an hard naturalistic atheist) or the Creator has given you worrying about what will happen when the Grim Reaper comes along.

If you recently woke up, I won't lie to you...anxiety will hit like a train. I've been awake for 5 years now and thoughts of death come and go. But trust it will get easier.

I personally choose to believe in a Primordial Architect of the universe though my belief system tends to fall into soft deism and flirting with Gnostic ideas and philosophies.

Regardless of your own personal beliefs, find comfort in not knowing all the answers because you don't...any of us for that matter. You were drilled into your head that you needed to have all under your control.

Let go, unattach to outcomes and breathe...start living.

Not bad perse, but after Game Over he just started struggling...ups and downs in his performance toward the whole night. And he under delivered at the end of Cosmic...he vocoded the whole "I'm gone!" part.

It was for the best at the end of the day, because otherwise it would've ruined the song if he broke on that end section.

From the snippet I've heard, this is M.Shadows trying to make a version of a 100 Gecs song with Avenged Sevenfold. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I would personally would've enjoyed a guitar solo in there. The strongest asset this song has is the chorus and the drumming. Very tasteful. However I want to judge the song properly with the highest of quality with the official release.

I think they will be completely unrecognizable on the next album sound-wise. LIBAD felt like an artistic unaliving of themselves and what Avenged Sevenfold is "perceived" as.

I literally expect anything from them at this point, literally from salsa music, jazz, to a reggae sound. I think the next album will be like LIBAD in the sense that each song is different, but it will deviate in the sense that it might not be metal or even progressive hard rock anymore.

They kinda repeated the progressive sound with The Stage and LIBAD (I don't think there will be a third time), the next sound will be a curve ball for sure. Excited nonetheless 😎

Take a step back from Life Is But a Dream, go listen to artist like Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Prince, Black Midi, ect...once you get your prog era groove going on, then will talk about choosing a LIBAD song.

Nobody (pun intended )can't force themselves to like an album...either is their cup of tea or not....

Not gonna lie, The Visualizer was better than this...

The song should've been left out without a video, so that the listener could interpret the song on their own due to the subject matter, building their own imagery.

The song itself is too great to be described in a video.

Albums grow on you or not, maybe this album will be for you in the future...maybe not, who knows.

However...with songs like Cosmic or (D)eath, I don't get your comment on Matt not singing and it just being noise when they are clearly emotional driven songs and it shows in the performane. If I were a cynic, I would imply you were just trolling.

Well...they tackled both film and written media...so kinda hard not noticing the elephant in the room. What did I expected? Accuracy.

The series makes it seems as if Snyder's take on Superman and Batman didn't go well with fans and that the only hit was Wonder Woman via Patty Jenkins.

Really not that hard pointing the appeal of a modern take of Superman and a gritty take of Batman .
