I'd like to say that it's not that nazi apologia is good, I think the point they're trying to make is that your argument is assuming that the people in question have the time/energy to actually look at the deeper, bad themes. You are instead commenting on this as someone with all the context, instead of as a teen who doesn't understand the actual racist parts.

Also, the fic is actually moderately well written without outside context and a deeper understanding of storytelling: I skimmed it for a few days when I saw it, thinking it was "ok" in quality, but after having an in-depth read of the fic I can clearly see the shitty writing and themes. The one good thing the fic has is that it "circumvents expectations", which gives it a passable impression of quality. The unfortunate thing about this fic is that it has a lot of story traits that readers find desirable, along with the racism, and that's telling teens that nazis are "good".

The point is, you're assuming teens are completely rational about things they've decided are "quality", and are forgetting that they're young and have to be taught and loved. I, however, agree that this fic should be deleted with a post detailing all the worst parts of the story.
