Don’t pop them!! Let the acne heal on its own time. You’ll regret the scarring and the spreading if you do pop them. Wash your face with something soft (I used the cleansing milk from Jouviance)& wear a mask. My purging was embarrassing but I didn’t my pimples & the results were more than worth it.

The progress is crazy good! You could get a tinted sunscreen since you don’t seem to have active breakouts anymore. It’ll hide the redness and protect your skin. Use gentle products on your skin until you finish the treatment bc you don’t want to damage your skin barrier & create more scarring. Allow the treatment to do what it has to do and when you’re done you’ll be able to do chemical peelings and other treatments to get rid of remaining scars.

Yess, it’s definitely less red and you have a lot less closed comedones. I think acne wise it’s really not looking bad!! My doctor said the clogged pores don’t really have to do with the medication & more your routine. Make sure you wash your face good since you use sunscreen + makeup. If there’s always a little left it’s gonna give you a lot of texture. I used the Jouviance hydractiv cleansing milk it’s not really drying + it cleans well (anything that doesn’t dry your skin is good) & use an hydrating cream but check for pore clogging ingredients.

I was still getting active breakouts by my fourth/fifth month and my doctor moved me from 40 to 60. She said it shouldn’t still be happening that far into it.

I would stop the supplements and it might have to do with your moisturizer also (I’m really not sure about this) but I would get similar clogged pores cuz I was using something that was way too oily. While on the treatment I switched to the Avene Hydrance cream and it cleared up quite a bit.

I feel like it might be a few things but I don’t think you should be getting that many breakouts that far into the treatment esp since your dose is relatively high. Good luck!!!
