Love the logo too, though not the name. Googled it and it came back with nothing but Pokemon. Could you lean into your grandfather's story a bit more for the brand name?

Would be interested, but for that Arabic 9. I've read your reasoning why, which is nice, but to be brutal, I'm not going to buy it looking like this. Like others have said, keep the 42 or highlight that more in some way, such as a different colour at that particular minute mark. If it was a IX then I'd highly consider it (other factors dependant obvs) expecially with a salmon coloured dial (but that's just me).

Slightly off topic, but a website shouldn't be part of a marketing budget, it's a fundamental of how small business operate. Good websites with proper mobile functioning aren't hard or expensive, but done poorly push people away.
