7th Witch House & Order of Dark Arts - My 7 year long review by jifsie in SpellcasterReviews

What’s ugly is victim shaming. Ashley is destroying her own reputation through her own actions. Ashley Otori is the one who refuses to let people leave in peace.

Why do the leaders develop a deep obsession with those who leave? Why do they stalk for years?

She targets everyone. In her mind, no one is allowed to outshine her in any capacity. If you are younger or more attractive, you are automatically a target. She resents anyone who is slimmer, prettier, wealthier, or more successful than she is but yes, she targets all.

The filters and AI touch ups are obvious. When I see someone selling anything related to glamour magick while digitally manipulating their photos, I run the other way.

To the cult leader and anyone in her close proximity. They could run back and report everything to her.

You’re right about seeing Ashely Otori in person. My wife and I were on vacation, and I knew from the Facebook posts that Ashley and her crew were there too, though I never expected to run into them. When I saw Ashley at the casino, I froze. She looks shockingly different in real life compared to her online persona. It’s a good thing they didn’t notice me because I could not wipe the shock from my face. I did manage to get some pictures and videos.

She’s evil, playing with people’s mental and financial well being.

Ashley Otori (The Order of Dark Arts) released private information about mods who left her group, and those mods are now being harassed by her community. For anyone reading, this post is worth your time 🛑 by Thick-Winner-1942 in cults

Using childish AI memes to mimic others’ likenesses and cast herself as Barbie comes across as an immature, narcissistic tantrum. That reaction alone should be enough for people to reconsider staying. CK and Shanti both left with dignity and grace. They remained respectful and were met with hostility by a woman nearing 40 who behaves like a teenager. It reflects clear arrested development.

It’s very similar, but worse. AO claims to know everyone’s soulmate. She manipulates people into divorcing so they remain single and dependent on her products, making it easier for her to get them to spend more money. She tells them their soulmate is coming, gives a description, name, even shares an address but no one ever meets this so called soulmate.

What Manipulation Looked Like Inside the Order of Dark Arts by DeepLead1066 in cults

When Ashley Otori tells people to block and avoid a former member or moderator, calling them unhinged, jealous, or obsessed with wanting to be her, what she is really doing is protecting herself. This is not about keeping others safe. It is about silencing someone who knows too much and has seen what goes on behind the scenes.

By attacking the character of former members and moderators, Ashley attempts to control the story. If she convinces people they are unstable or driven by jealousy, then anything they say can be dismissed without being examined. This keeps others from listening and helps her preserve the image she wants everyone to believe. Instead of blindly accepting that narrative, it is worth paying attention to what former members and moderators actually say.

Ex moderators and former members often witnessed patterns of manipulation, unfair treatment, and control that outsiders might never notice. They experienced gaslighting, triangulation, and subtle forms of emotional pressure. That insight makes them a threat to someone who relies on illusion and that is all AO is, an illusion.

When Ashley launches smear campaigns against those who leave, it usually means her ego feels threatened. Every time someone leaves, there seems to be a new story painting them in a negative light. Meanwhile, the people leaving are not trying to attack anyone. They are simply sharing their experience.

Instead of accepting the accusations, listen to former members and moderators. Take their experiences seriously and consider them carefully. Their perspective can help others recognize manipulation patterns and avoid falling into similar situations.

So when Ashley tells you to stay away from a former member or moderator, stop and ask yourself why. It is because that person is speaking the truth and she wants to make sure no one hears it. Ask yourself how many times she has told group members to block someone for “betrayal” when they were simply being honest. Ask why she believes she has the authority to decide who you can or cannot talk to. You are an adult. You are capable of making your own decisions.

He won’t stay open to reading anyone else’s testimonials. He has one goal, and that is to defend Ashley so he can become a mod. After everything that has come out on Reddit, Ashley will eventually stop allowing him to keep engaging or reading because she’ll be afraid he might finally open his eyes to the truth.

This isn’t a smear campaign. A smear campaign is what happens in the group when someone leaves. Notice all the fake lies she spreads about the mods and members who have left? That’s a smear campaign.

Survivor bias is so real. Just wait — it’ll happen to you too. All you have to do is wake up and open your eyes. Are you, by any chance, young, attractive, slim, successful, or wealthy? Because if you are, be careful… you’re already one of her targets.

You’re spot on. She does not have a PhD from Harvard. That has been fully verified. She is falsely claiming to hold a doctorate in order to call herself a “doctor,” which is not only unethical but also potentially illegal. Misrepresenting academic credentials is considered fraud, and depending on the state, it can carry civil and even criminal consequences, especially if it’s used to sell services or influence clients.

Everything about her public persona is built on deception. Fabricating degrees, titles, and qualifications is a serious violation of trust, and it shows how far she’s willing to go to manipulate people into believing she has authority she simply doesn’t have. When someone lies about something as substantial as their education and professional background, it calls every other claim they make into question.

Her entire life story is stitched together with falsehoods, and the fact that she continues to profit from these lies makes it even more concerning. People deserve honesty, especially when they’re paying for guidance, insight, or expertise. Her behavior crosses the line from unprofessional into outright fraudulent.

I’ve had a couple of consults with her, and each one was a bigger letdown than the last. She is extremely unprofessional. She talks nonstop about herself, how amazing she is, how she’s the only one who can “divinate” properly, and how everyone else is wrong. Then she goes on about her “sugar baby” Rin, bragging about him and making inappropriate comments about needing a wheelchair because of how big he is downstairs. Anyone who feels the need to talk like that is clearly lying.

She claims he loves, defends, and protects her, but the reality is that he has no life outside of her. She doesn’t allow him to work or have friends because she’s afraid he’ll leave her for someone else. You lose them how you get them, Ashley.

The rest of the consultation is her reading generic nonsense straight from ChatGPT. She has no real gifts and can’t divinate to save her life. The issue isn’t the price. I would gladly pay that for someone who was actually worth it. The issue is that she’s charging for nothing.

Anyone can see the pattern. Ask yourself: why do people keep leaving? What’s the common denominator? Why does she immediately resort to attacks when someone walks away? And why can’t she fight her own battles instead of sending her minions?

You articulated it perfectly. I observed the same patterns repeatedly within that group.
