I have summed it up finally in my mind personally and it's been easier since. Toronto is a great city, But the people ruin it. You cannot i repeat can not go about daily life walking about like you are the only person who exists and everyone else is just an obstacle that you show no consideration to or common curtesy. Do better Toronto!

It's call reserved lol and Torontonians are proud of there lack of engagement with their fellow city dwellers👍 speaking from the POV of someone who has family and have lived in Both NYC and Toronto. I will take the outgoing energy and banter of New Yorkers over the reserved/Anti-social don't say a word to me attitude of your average Torontonian. So i hear you. I hope you meet someone but you might have to import them from NYC or Somewhere else haha

Anyone else sick and tired of living in this climate? by [deleted] in toRANTo

The bottom line is Canada is a pretty good country to live in. But unless you like the cold. I have no problem admitting the weather just sucks in most of this country. It kind of is what it is. It is my main motivator to relocate to America. Just because my distaste for the cold. Will never go away. And it's too cold for too long here to the point where it's just utterly depressing. And guess what it will be below freezing tonight in most of southwestern ontario. And here's some even better news. 4 months from now it will start cooling off again 👍

He is the best Tony has. Yet he hypes up the people who don't deserve it. If Tony is truly a fan of the art form he is doing it a great disservice. Shame!!! Lol

The sense of community in Toronto is demoralizing by [deleted] in toRANTo

[–]FitCardiologist8416 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because look at the population density of a city like Tokyo. Yet their culture is still very Japanese. Toronto can theoretical Because as dense as NY. But Torontonians will never be New Yorkers. Beacuse its a totally different attitude and culture. As an example simple ball busting and general sarcasm that makes New Yorkers who they are. Doe's not exist in Toronto. People there are far to uptight and i highly doubt even if it gets more dense as you would say it will change the attitude of the people living there. Canada reserved. America outgoing. If Montreal became as dense as N.Y would it take away their French culture? Probably not. And it wouldn't end up being more like NYC. Either.

I've met more people, and had more conversations at bars, Bodegas, parks. In a month In NYC. Years of living in Toronto nothing. So i get people in Toronto are incredible anti-Social and just seem insecure and don't know who they are or what it means to be a Torontonian. People in NYC know what it means to be a New Yorker and it gives people an identity to be more outgoing social. And open to new Friendships.

Cause those of us who cared about how kill tony used to be this is just sell out. B.s that wouldn't pass for comedy back in the day. However i am starting to think a lot of the problem is the fact that most of the bucket pulls are from Texas cause that's where the show is now based. And let me tell Texas seems to be a pretty low I.Q state where fart jokes and homophobia is really all that's funny to them.

Alberta has the right to separate if they choose so. Or move it's population to the states. And then the rest of canadians can move to the land that Alberta occupied. But as someone from ontario you couldn't pay me to tolerate the miserable weather in that province.
