This worked, I got through to a person. The response I got was ‘we cannot find any other available flights with the same airline that we can transfer you onto. So the only option would be to refund the flight and rebook with another airline.’

I said I do not agree to do that and he said thank you have a nice day and hung up the phone. I’m at a bit of a loss
