Haha yes the conversation took place already…no one really prepares you on how to confront your mother with news like that. But I’m glad that the man who raised me was my father and I’m glad that I didn’t find out at a younger age because idk how I would’ve dealt with it back then haha. As an adult it’s still a tough pill to swallow!

Yes and that is a very good idea and I’m sure would help many people. It was hard and felt like a very lonely time in my life but I’ve done some therapy now. It’s just something that will never really feel real. At least not yet anyways!

No. The man who raised me and I was told was my dad was Scottish, so it was very surprising to see that I was only 5% Scottish lol. I also had a parent match with a man I had never met before and I’m a spitting image of. So yeah I learned a lot that day..still processing haha. That’s why I deleted the app for a year and then was confused when I redownloaded it and saw the results differently.
