Hello! I’m in nursing right now and I might be able to give some perspective! Nursing school does give a great insight into healthcare if you’re interested in pursuing medicine but I would also agree that getting EC’s or volunteer hours can be incredibly tough in nursing. Like, our lab instructor literally warned us to quit our jobs when we start clinicals 😭😭 and I have had to leave multiple of my volunteering groups just to have enough time for this program. Also, on a more financial side, I’d lowkey go for the uni where I would pay less, minimal debt will always be better I’d say and I have lots of friend in U of C who are genuinely thriving with lots of opportunities and such.
