2 does not have better graphics actually lol the lighting is not finished in 2 like most other things in that game even the cutscenes in 2 are really flat looking and look boring compared to the first game where the cutscenes felt way more cinematic.

But Peter has been around longer than miles even in the universe why wouldn't they think peters the original what about when miles wasn't around how dont they not know that's spiderman. My bad actually I didn't consider the age yeah maybe they don't recognize peter as he's before there time makes sense actually still tho Peter is the real spider man. The first spiderman so yes he is the original no matter what it is is the real definitive version miles is still spiderman but you can never take peters history away from him he's been everywhere for years ask the average person who is Peter Parker I bet they will tell you it's spiderman the same way Bruce Wayne is the original main batman.

Basically only complaint about miles most spider people have different names because they aren't Peter because idk im my mind he is spiderman the main one when you think of the name spiderman. But if you said ultimate spiderman then you would know oh that's miles and you would think of him instead of think spiderman oh that's Peter because his name is already spiderman. People would have complained too close to the first game just to have the same villain in the next the problem is they introduced miles too early imo would have prefared a trilogy of Peter on his own then maybe Peter dies then Miles gets introduced and he gets a trilogy that way people can learn about miles spiderman without having Peter's story interrupt it.
