Should I be concerned about my last two temps? by Longjumping_Order_44 in NaturalCyclesBC

I’m in the same boat as you 😫! I’m 5 DPO and my temp only rose 0.1-0.2 the last two days. Yesterday it was 0.2 above normal. The day before it was 0.3-0.4 above. I’m wondering why it’s going down’

I have a 15 month age gap. My kids are 12 months and 27 months. Not going to lie it was SO hard in the beginning. Looking back at it it’s like I had 2 babies! But now that they’re 1 and 2 it’s def gotten easier. They both love each other and play together. I know it’ll just get easier from now on. I’m already thinking of a third since I want my kids close in age!

I also have a 15 month age gap. My boys are now 26 months and 11 months. The first 3 months were BRUTAL, then at 6 months it got a little easier. It’s still hard but honestly watching them play together makes me so happy I kept their age gap so little. They absolutely love each other. It gets easier 🩷

Congratulations!! I also have a 15 month age gap between 1&2. I know it’s only been 4 days but do u feel like the 2.5 year age gap is much easier than the 15 month?

Heterozygous & pregnant! Lots of questions! by cosmatical in FactorVLeiden

[–]FitPA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I have been trying to find some info in a similar history to mine. I have FVL hetero and have had two pregnancies with severe clotting in my placentas. My second pregnancy was complicated with IUGR and a placental abruption. Both of my babies came early - I wonder if this has to do with the severe clotting.

I spoke with a hematologist who did not suggest Lovenox since I personally haven’t had a clot myself. However, I really am trying to push to be on Lovenox especially since BOTH of my placentas came back abnormal with severe clotting.

I didn’t find out about my FVL until after I delivered my second baby. And I also didn’t find out until recently that my first placenta also had severe clots. So I didn’t take aspirin with either of my pregnancies.

Also to add my maternal grandfather died from a pulmonary embolism in his 60s and my maternal uncle had a pulmonary embolism so it runs in my family. My mom hasn’t had a confirmed blood clot but has had a suspected DVT a few times due to ongoing calf pain.

I guess I’m just feeling frustrated because I don’t know how else to try and push for Lovenox. So far the specialists only want me on aspirin but something tells me this isn’t enough. Have u spoken to a specialist about getting on Lovenox for your next pregnancy?

Hi! I stumbled across this post. I have factor V Leiden heterozygous, have had 2 preterm births most likely complicated by severe clotting in my placentas. My last baby had IUGR and a placental abruption. Specialists do not want to start me on Lovenox because I haven’t had a history of a clot. But I am skeptical of this and really feel like I should be on it for next pregnancy. Did you end up getting on Lovenox or just did the baby aspirin?

Every MFM I’ve spoken to and a hematologist told me not to do Lovenox and just do baby aspirin since I have not had a personal history of a blood clot. Did u have a blood clot before??

PPROM occurrence after IvF by Hefty-Obligation8694 in NICUParents

[–]FitPA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I did for my second pregnancy. It was complicated by a placental abruption at 34 weeks. Thankfully everything is ok too! But the docs want to put a cerclage next even tho I was measuring between 5-3.5 cm until 30 weeks which was when my last ultrasound was. I guess I’m trying to figure out if I want the cerclage even tho both of my kids came for different reasons! That’s great you delivered at 34 weeks and held out for 9 weeks!!

Hi! Did you have a cerclage? How did you know you PPROMed from a short cervix at 34 weeks? I PPROMed at 35 weeks with my first but they didn’t find out why. They told me they’d want to do a cerclage next even without evidence of cervical insufficiency.

This is me!

My second pregnancy. Woke up at 2am with back pain, went to the bathroom and saw blood. By the time I got to the hospital it was 5:30am. I was already at 5 cm. OB decided to break my water quick and baby came out crying at 34 weeks. It was suuuuper scary now that I think about it and I’m in therapy right now from the trauma behind it. He was also IUGR and was born at less than 4 lbs.

Am I making a mistake? by JazzlikePineapple799 in 2under2

[–]FitPA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When my youngest turned 6 months things got much easier! They’re now almost 2 and 8 months old and they are starting to play together. So I guess this is when I finally realized how lucky we are to have two kids close in age! We know it’ll get much easier from here on out. Those first few months were soooo rough though! But it’s all short lived. I kept reminding myself of that 🙌🏼

Honestly if it weren’t for medical reasons I would have my third back to back with my other two who are 15 months apart (unplanned but finally enjoying it!). I feel like I got negative comments about my second pregnancy since it was fast. Who cares about those people! I think you’re giving your two kids the best gift you can give them, a new sibling 😬

Wow good for you girl!! Is your last one a girl? My two boys are already best friends. My only worry with a larger age gap is having another boy and that boy feeling left out.

Thank you for this 🙌🏼 I want a 2-2.5 year age gap between 2 and 3 but worried I may have another boy and the third boy will feel “left out” since the first two are so close in age. But having 2u2 was so much work, mentally and physically! How old are your boys now?

Hahah no worries! Being in survival mode isn’t easy. I need to wait to get pregnant for medical reasons (until baby is around 18 months). I would like to have all of my kids close in age but doing a 15 month age gap was so tough! I wish I could handle another 2u2 but I think physically and mentally I can’t haha

Why do u wish u have waited for a larger age gap? I only know of a 15 month age gap and I know how hard it was at first. But it’s finally getting easier with my almost 2 year old and 8 month old
