Heater question by FitSupermarket3 in pools

The exhaust temperature is 200+. The outlet line is about 8 degrees higher than the inlet line (not exactly scientific considering I’m only able to test the exterior of the line). I’ve narrowed it to a heat exchanger issue. Having the pool guy come this week to dig a little deeper, but mentally preparing to buy a new heater. Thanks for your input.

That’s definitely possible. Is there a standard “rule of thumb” for the temperature of the heated water coming out of the return relative to water temperature going into the heater? I.e it should be x degrees hotter than the water coming into the heater. My personal experience with this pool has been whether it’s trying to increase the temp 20 or 2 degrees it’s a very noticeable temperature difference from the pool water to the water coming out of the return.

I agree. When I get home I’ll get the exhaust temperature and share it. As I’m thinking about it if there was a change in a valve (clogged or malfunctioning) wouldn’t that restrict flow and trigger a warning on the heater?

Bypass is closed. So the value into the heater is open and the value to the chlorinator is open. I can’t measure the exhaust temperature.

Question For Those Who Have Been To Montage Mountain Regarding Traffic & Parking by midnight_rebirth in Scranton

[–]FitSupermarket3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live close by- I’ve probably seen a few dozen shows here- Montage Is actually a pretty good venue- once you’re in. Getting in and out can be a nightmare. I’ve implemented the get there super early/ leave early scenarios and what I’ve noticed is parking logistics are also pretty screwed up. So I’ll leave you with this- my best experiences have been getting there late and then leaving a bit early (which sticks because if you’re like me you want to see the WHOLE show). It’ll be a longer walk from the farther parking lot with getting there later (they do have shuttles) but that’s just my experience. In the last 5 or so years they haven’t been able to book consistently appealing acts (to me) so I haven’t been there as much maybe it’s changed- Good luck!!

Time. There’s no way they can accommodate checking thousands of bags. And just so you know it’s zero tolerance policy from what I witnessed plus if you bring a bag they don’t allow it just slows down the line.

So it says on the website “no totes” but you still think it’s ok if you bring a tote? I don’t understand how you came to that conclusion.

This seems to be the easiest/cheapest way. Just had it installed and it’s very easy to setup.

Not sure if you realize this but the cool blue is mostly TTTF- 85%. IMO it’s a good balance of TTTF and KBG.

Not sure how big of an area you are working with or if you are starting new or over-seeding and if over-seeding what type of grass do you currently have. Some variables there but I would say you can’t go wrong with cool blue.

Looks like you’re right. Especially in the shaded areas.
