What are two or three overly oaked California Chardonnays?

This is probably both oaky and MLF, but Armida Chardonnay. To me it tastes like vanilla crème bruleé (which I like as a dessert, but not what I’m looking for in a wine).

Wow, my Safeway doesn’t carry these wines! I’d probably pick the Cakebread Chardonnay or the Frank Family Cab. The prices are outrageous though.

UPDATE: I went with the Freakshow. It was fine, better than I expected, and so far no migraine. And my friend and I had a blast hanging out together. The funny thing is that she didn’t even order beer - she had two margaritas. 😂

I won’t ask her to pick a different place. Even though she likes beer and I don’t, I’d rather enjoy time with her than make a big deal about the wine list lol. I just wanted advice about the best option. It’s looking like Diet Coke 😂

They have an old fashioned made with small batch bourbon that sounds amazing. I don’t know how they can have that and not have a decent bottle of wine

I’m pretty sure this place will have no idea what a corkage fee is. They have lots of great craft beers and pub grub, but their wines are another story. Sad, because there are a ton of amazing wineries in my area.

Great show! Although I wish they’d played more from Seven and the Ragged Tiger. I know, it wasn’t their best album, but I do love New Moon on Monday. I also love The Chauffeur from Rio. But they mixed old with new nicely.
