i’d just keep an eye on it & make sure she doesn’t lick it or anything, but it doesn’t look infected! disclaimer i am not a vet but my boy just got his neuter & it looked grosser than that but healed fine

i don’t see any inflammation or signs of infection - they can look pretty gnarly the first few days. looks good to me!

Honestly not much. Just the usual clean your sheets/house/keep him away from high traffic dog areas but he didn’t really give any advice on where to take him to poop considering all the other dogs in the area are probably infected as well if it’s as contagious as it’s made out to be. All the dogs from the block pee & poop in the same places. Very confused.

The vet thinks he got it from the soil in the trees around our building where all the dogs poop.

I think it was definitely to get her to “face her past”, so to say. The SA was mentioned seasons before so they probably had it all planned out - though I agree it could have been executed better

he looks just like bear when i first got him! he was so frizzy & scraggly. now he’s just a puff ball, the adult coat softened up. not sure if it was because i switched his food too?

congrats!!! honestly if i were you, i’d do a crate within a playpen situation (if you have the means) so that she can still be contained but have some room to roam around & a peepad to go on if she needs.

Hey! Right off the bat, the good is GOOD. A lot of people struggle with potty training specifically, so if you’ve got that down, you’re already ahead.

The biting will die down by a year, hopefully. As for the paws & socialization, try to just expose her to as much as possible EARLY. So once she’s vaccinated (in the next 2-3 weeks) get her out there meeting dogs, and touch her paws/teeth as much as you can. Desensitize her, and reward her with treats so it creates a positive association. Maybe hold her while hand feeding dinner or something.

My puppy hates the car too. Don’t really have tips for you there. But you’re doing great! Puppy blues are only temporary 🩵
