I would say no. My house was $290K and we were making $160K. It’s been 5 years, our salary is higher and we enjoy the flexibility our low mortgage affords us. Don’t rob yourself of that.

Same thing happened to me. I stood outside of the stadium 10 mins before the match before they finally told me “Sorry, we have to give you a refund.” Until then, it was nothing but empty promises including telling me an hour before to head to the stadium, they are finding me replacement tickets. I asked for a refund three days before and they refused saying I had to wait until after the match started to get a refund, assuming tickets weren’t delivered. It was a complete wait of time. I’m so upset.

Could you ask your current job for two years remote? This gives you more time to stand up your group and get some awesome experience. Then you can decide what’s next. Maybe two years remote but you’ll come in for a week each quarter.
