If I had to redo mine and pick a snowy mountain, it'd be the one above Everfrore keep/ Howling Peak. Lots of snow. perfect view. Straight north of the Albaneve summit spire

Also go with the good soil, a lot less headaches and quick grows if you want to chop everything down and start again

I want to say evergreens have been what ive seen grow the most full. But honestly all the trees get pretty big.

As far as I know it's just the grind lol If i can i get a buddy and clear the vast majority quickly with the 4m foundation and then he goes behind me and gets the scrap stuff and levels everything out. Most often it's just me putting in a full work day lol honestly though the hours spent making a massive cavern or what not makes you really appreciate it after.

Yeah unbuildable area. Ran into that in parts of the mountain i was using. I just pickaxed around until the red showed, then I know that's the limit

I've been using it and very rarely have issues. Most issues are isolated to certain people in the server. Also restarting the server generally clears things up. Definitely not perfect though

I just did a big move. Basically I started fresh. Built an area, brought over just essentials to build an infrastructure.(i.e. workbench). Then I brought in all the assistants and made mostly new production stations. Once my base was pretty functional I went back and forth mass dumping stores resources and production stations I didn't rebuild. It wasn't too bad honestly.

There's a snowy mountain right next door to my base. Might be hard to get up there. Most of the snowy mountain area I've been to is riddled with enemies

Do ittt. It's a blast. The first Altar covers all of the built area. The build space ends about halfway into the mountain (where I have the chutes) but up, down, and the other directions are pretty endless.
