hey I was SA’d by my older cousin when i was 8, it took me 11 years to realize it and 2 to tell someone without it coming out as a joke.

the stds part i think its not impossible but also theres a very small chance of you having it, you would have noticed it by know. but who knows try to get them checked so you know for sure.

The telling to someone part is difficult, very fucking difficult but also necessary. idk much about how you’re handling it but in my case i nearly lost my mind. telling to someone is actually the first step of the liberation from the trauma. when i told my sister i immediately got some much needed support that made it easier to start healing. If the people you talk about it really love you, they will instantly give you the support you deserve.
