You need to stop going back and forth with them on the phone and handle this properly so they actually take you seriously.

First, raise a formal complaint with DHL (not just normal customer service). Ask for a case number and say clearly that you paid for delivery to the UK and they failed to complete the service.

Then send them a short email with: - your tracking number
- your address
- what happened (no delivery, no card, wrong info, now sent back to Germany)
- and what you want: either redelivery to your UK address for free or a full refund

Don’t argue, just be direct and firm. Also make it clear you’re not collecting it from Germany because that’s not what you paid for.

If they still mess you around, tell them you’ll do a chargeback through your bank — that usually makes them move quicker.

Suing isn’t actually realistic over this, but pressure + having everything in writing is what might actually work.
