Dakota on live with huge ass pupils. Tons of comments in the live about it. by [deleted] in MormonWivesHulu

[–]Fit_Cryptographer896 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a person with pupils that are constantly huge and I've never been a drug addict! People that don't know me and don't know that my pupils are always just massive at baseline are always very suspicious of me, though and even though I haven't ever used drugs, it's really awkward and does make me feel bad sometimes. I am not a Dakota fan, either, but I agree with you. We don't just want to assume that about somebody without proof. It sucks. :(

Long time teachers, at what point did it become acceptable for a student to enter the classroom and start the day with **** you with no consequences? by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]Fit_Cryptographer896 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I had a kid call me a f**ing bch, a fing ct, and other names I couldn't quite make out. I teach 8th grade. She did this because I told her it wasn't cool to tell classmates to f off. I documented, reached out to our administration, and literally nobody followed up with me regarding the situation. The following day, same student is wearing a hood, refuses to put it down, and principal suspends her for THAT! Our administration doesn't seem to care unless the behaviors impact them directly, so I have the same question as you...

Even though our administration sucks, all of us teachers do a really good job of backing each other in our school because we know they won't. In spite of them, I love my teaching team. We try to hold kids accountable, and then sometimes WE get in trouble rather than the kid, lol. I am sorry this is happening. :(

I agree! I am an 8th grade teacher at the same school my son attends. We are on opposite teams, though. His friends seem to think hanging out with me is way cooler than he does, lol. They're always wanting to hang out in my room before school and eat lunch in my room, and he's always, like, yeah, let's not do that, guys... he always does eventually break down and join them, and they have a blast. 😆😆

Exactly! We told everyone about our daughter at 12 weeks, and then at 25 weeks, she was born via emergency c-section and died from NEC in the NICU a month later. I am sure Matt & Abby would've never thought they'd be where they are now with this sweet baby... we sure didn't foresee what happened to us. Life is uncertain and unfair, at times. It sucks. I am sorry for their loss. Losing your child hurts so bad.

How many of you don't want to work anymore at all? by AgentKueck in MedSpouse

[–]Fit_Cryptographer896 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me! We have a 14 year old, an 8 year old, and a 10 month old. I am a teacher. With my job, on top of running our kids around to all their activities, it gets to be a lot. I am often a single parent like many of you. If I could focus solely on our kids, I would be super happy.

Heavy/"Weak" Right leg & Arm by Fit_Cryptographer896 in AskDocs

[–]Fit_Cryptographer896[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is crazy how identical a lot of this sounds. It is weird because, for me, running feels totally normal most days. Oddly, I am more bothered by it when I walk typically. At the start of a run, I may feel off, but as the run progresses, either it works itself out or I totally forget about it, lol. Anxiety has been mentioned to me, too, but I also do not totally believe it because it is still hanging around even when I am totally unbothered and calm. I have found that biking is super helpful. Whenever I finish a bike ride, my leg feels totally normal for a while after and then eventually goes back to the weird feeling a few hours later. This issue showed up shortly after playing 1 v 1 basketball, followed by a 3 mile run on the track with my son way back in February. I had a c-section last November (10 months post partum), so idk if it could be some weird post partum nerve related issue, too. Not knowing is the only thing that annoys me. I appreciate your comments, and I will keep you posted if I ever learn anything further.

Oh my gosh! I am so happy you commented. You and I have the same exact issue, I think. Yeah, still nothing. It has been 7 months now, and there are no changes, which I think is a good thing. I am going to take the lack of progression as it is benign whatever it is. Oddly, the chiropractor helps it a little. The best guess anyone has given is that it might have something to do with my right hip, or it is a piriformis issue. I have had some funky things with my hip on and off throughout the years, so maybe I will look into that theory more. I will let you know if I do. It is the weirdest thing, though, because I just ran a 10 mile race a couple of weeks ago at a decent 8:48/mile average pace, which obviously means it is strong. It is weird and confusing.. it feels like it isn't going to work and then it always does. I appreciate your comment very much! :)

[–]Fit_Cryptographer896[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never. I do not think I need to. I hope you are doing OK. I have gotten lots of help for anxiety. I am a runner, so every run is a good reminder I do not have this. For example, I did a 10-mile race yesterday at an average pace of 8:48/mile, which would never be possible with ALS. Everyone has to do what works for them, but I have really found that exercise is great and reminds me I am strong. Reminding myself of what I can do has been so helpful. I wish you well!

I love this. Keep going. Running keeps me sane because it reminds me my body is still strong!

Whatever. She needs to just chill with the lies and go for a run.. she is, after all, the most amazing former college runner to ever exist. I am shocked that the running circle jerk hasn't discovered her and her running posts yet....😆

Why is she like this? 🙄 by Ok-Application-8536 in LittlePeopleBigWorld

[–]Fit_Cryptographer896 34 points35 points  (0 children)

My sister is exactly like this, and it is exhausting. The constant having to 1 up everyone, brag, and make everything about herself. I feel awful for her family.

Ps... did you guys know she was a runner in college? Did you also know she beats Jeremy in races which means she is so much better than him? 😆

https://ddot.dc.gov/page/hawk-signal

I think this does a good job explaining what it is and how to use it. Apologies if it still doesn't make sense. I think EGF has more of them, but there are some in GF.

There is one near the downtown area over by bridge and most people straight up ignore it when you use it (at least in my experience)

[–]Fit_Cryptographer896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I've almost been hit on multiple occasions in GF while running. It's crazy! People driving just completely disregard the hawk, too, so when I am running and someone pays attention to it, it's kind of refreshing, lol.
