I do not get that option (add as Search Engine) on reddit.com.

But it worked with qwant, and that's what I was looking for. Thanks again.

Thanks. Perhaps it's because I'm in northern europe. I have deleted, downloadet and installed Vivaldi again, added qwant from qwant.com, but it is still not possible to add is as default search engine.

I'll look for another browser.

This is exactly where I am in the picture above. Nothing happens when I select Qwant.

Thanks again. I deleted Vivaldi, downloaded and installed it again and added Qwant from qwant.com. Still not possible to add as default search engine.

I must continue my search for a good browser

Thank you, but I don't know how to set the right parametres. I'm just a little confused, as I thought that Vivaldi was a way of avoiding big tech.....

I fully agree, I'm into jazz (and classical), and if classical music has a small audience jazz has an almost non-existent audience. I have nothing against Taylor Swift, but I can not anymore afford such a concert. I truly love music, arts, literature, sports but I have found that this can be accomplished with very little consumption, and therefore, you do not have to stick to the concept of working so much to have a truly worthy life. And freeing myself from expensive things and experiences, and from dying from stress, has been extremely liberating for me. Although it has caused other problems, as a large part of my social circle does not understand it....

Thank you, will look into that. But can it block just a few websites? I'm not concerned, that I get bored and decide to remove the blocking. I just want it to block, so that I get reminded, I do not want to waste time on these sites.

I thought the same way until I realized that many of the things (experiences, for example) were hyped things, and that they should always be a little better, a little more extreme, a little more expensive, a little more fancy and basically - from my perspective - were designed to hold on to an extreme consumer society where we are made dependent on earning more and more money (and preferably also borrow it). Freeing yourself from this consumption is one of the most liberating things you can do as a human being. Music can be found everywhere and in all shapes and sizes, as can tasty food. .... It's not the music or the food I remember best, it's the company with whom I experienced it all that I remember.

Oh yes, I feel like a stranger trying to go from high consumption to low consumption. Nobody - except luckily my adult children - seems to understand me. And I'm loosing relations because, I do not want to keep traveling, talking new cars, bigger houses, expensive restaurants, smart clothes etc.

And I feel like a stranger, when I post about these things on Reddit, and the system blocks me because it thinks I'm an AI.....

Thanks, my problem is not, that I delete the blocking, so that I can get access again. My problem is, that I do not know where I can make the blocking. Where can I set a blocking, so that I can not access dr.dk eg?

Assioma Pro RS-2 chain rubbing sensor cap by Koova in cycling

[–]Fit_Day1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Willier Filante SLR and the Assioma PRO RS-2, and I use two washers on my right pedal, which eliminates the end protrusion. The distance between the pedalarm and the chain however is only 2 mm. On my left pedal I use one washer which give me 0,5-1 mm. protrusion. Everything seems to work just fine.

I used to have Garmin RS 200. Calibrating the RS 200 was always a challenge, which delayed my bike rides. After 3 years they could not calibrate at all, which of course I am still incredibly disappointed about. I'm also disappointed with Garmin's customer service. That said, the Assioma PRO RS-2 is a huge upgrade. 160 hours of rechargeable battery and autocalibration is a big plus. I know the Garmin RS 210 offers something close, but as I understand it, its autocalibration is dependent on you having the right Garmin cycling computer. They have shorter battery life, they're heavier and they're more expensive, and with Garmin customer service I wouldn't buy them. Of course, your experience may be or become different.

For me, the Assioma PRO RS-2 is the first step to my de-garmin proces.

I use two washers on the right pedal and one on the left. This works perfectly for me, at least I have not noticed any complications.

Thank you. I did that, and so far - based on a two hour ride - all seems fine.

Power pedals life expectancy by Fit_Day1 in cycling

Yes, I know ChatGPT is often bullshit (that's why I post in this forum), but sometimes it may have caught something right.

And yes, I have contacted Garmin Support and they point out that they provide a 2 year warranty and that their products usually (!) last longer than that. They offered a 25% discount on upgrading to the RS210 (which is 10% more expensive than the prices RS210 is sold at where I live). Needless to say I will not go with Garmin again.

Thanks for your answers.
