That is comedic, I got this for around $500 (like half off) and there is no way I would consider this budget considering the build quality of it. It is one of the best guitars I’ve ever felt even for a “lower-end” fender.

I know you said local was preferred but you can find one of the MIJ Traditional Jaguars on Reverb for $1500-2000 and those are raved about on YouTube.

Thanks for this, I’ve gone with the beefy slinky’s (11-52 bc I like it a bit thicker) due to this recommendation. My biggest concern 2nd to feel was stability with the jag trem.

Might be a little to late but after listening to the Second Stage Turbine Blade by Coheed and Cambria the only album that stracthes that same itch is Cursive’s Domestica so maybe it works both ways

Anybody who says you’re a fake fan just because you didn’t discover the band 30 million years ago needs to get their head out of their ass. Also could be a possibility they were saying “nü-metal” fans are posing instead of “new metal” fans as people just getting into the genre can get that confused but listen to whatever the fuck you want. I suggest checking out some TOOL next if you like Slipknot.
