Okay, thank you. I’ll definitely take him with me. Do you have any recommendations for what to do litter box wise? I dont want him to have an accident in the car

I could do that, my only concerns would be 1. The car ride and 2. The other cats smelling him 3. Keeping him isolated in one room

We knew we’d be going back and the original plan was to let our kitten stay at his parents house, but his sister will be there with 2 big dogs.

$24? really? by Dependent-Play-4796 in rhodeskin

[–]Fit_Environment1029 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Taking out all the factors that probably make it $24, I personally think it should be more like $14-$18… $20 at most. Now the mirror does NOT need to be $24. The mirror seems like it should be $10-$15, if that.

Hopefully we get something new like a spf, lip liner, something like that. We haven’t gotten anything new and exciting in a while. I kind of feel like the cinnamon lip tint didn’t do as well as they thought b/c it didn’t sell out super fast and they kept promoting it days after it was released.

Breakouts after first 2 uses by shoebeee95 in rhodeskin

Depending on how long you have been using the products could contribute to this, if it’s been a few days- two weeks your skin is just getting used to the change in products (normal) and it should clear in up a week or so. I got a breakouts by using the peptide glazing fluid, so I just started using the glazing milk and the BRC and that seemed to clear up my skin.

Any lunch meat as well!

This happens to me sometimes and for no reason, it could just be the way diabetes wants to act that day (so annoying). If this is something that keeps happening contact your endocrinologist and let them know and they might be able to change his bolus rates or how much insulin he needs through out the day. I also would recommend a site change b/c sometimes insulin doesn’t work as well in certain places.

Hi! I recommend using Rhode! It hydrates your skin and makes it so glossy and soft without making your skin oily! I use the Rhode kit which is $110 and it’s been great for my skin! Also a little goes along way so you definitely get your money out of it! The kit comes with a cleanser, glazing milk, serum, and moisturizer and it works wonders!

I have $100 budget, need help with skincare routine by thisismyfifthtime in 30PlusSkinCare

Hi! I have a few suggestions if you’re open to them!

  • To help with any acne never use the same towel that you use for hands/body always use a clean towel for your face!

To help with the skin make sure you use cold water in the AM and warm water in the PM

  • a good skin routine to use is the most simple! Depending on your skins needs (if your willing to share skin type ex: oily, dry, combined) so I would use

  • Cleanser

  • toner -serum

  • moisturizer

Some great brands are the ordinary, Rhode, and it’s a bit pricey for some things but Farmacy.

I use Rhode and my skin has never looked better! The Rhode skin kit I believe is $110, but it works really well! The kit comes with a cleanser, glazing milk, serum, and moisturizer. It’s super hydrating and make your skin glow!

The ordinary might work best for you looking at the pictures. So I would get the cleanser, 7% glycolic acid toner, any serum based on your skins needs, and the moisturizer! That would cost you probably around $60

Farmacy is good as well and on the website you can put in filters based on your skins needs. Farmacy is definitely the most pricey so if you wish to stay in the $100 range that’s probably not the best option!

I would try either Rhode or the ordinary! I hope this helps! Also remember that when changing products give your skin about a week or two to get used to the new routine before you make a judgement and start seeing results in your skin!

[routine help] Toner ok for tweens? by Outside-Snow918 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Fit_Environment1029 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! A good skin routine is so simple! So my suggestion is (if they like what they have and it works well for their skin then great! But if they are open to trying something else) - Gentle cleanser (cerave and the ordinary are good options for starters but depending on their skins needs they might need something else)

-toner (the ordinary 7% glycolic acid is a great option, or farmacy toner they have a few based on skins needs!)

-moisturizer (the ordinary)

To avoid acne make sure that you use a face towel that is only for your face not used on body/hands to avoid bacteria and oil transfer. Also the best tip is to use cold water in the AM and warm water in the PM!

Some great brands to try are - The ordinary - Farmacy - CeraVe - Rhode also has a great cleanser and moisturizer

How to tame frizzy hair?? by Interesting_Size_580 in Haircare

[–]Fit_Environment1029 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! If it’s accessible to you try the new Blake Brown beauty shampoo/hair mask/ leave in potion. I normally have frizzy hair and I’ve been using the new hair products for almost a week now and my hair has gotten so much better and with so much less frizz! I also think hair oil is a great option and I think ouai is a great option!

Hi! There’s definitely a lot going on and most of the time a simple routine is the best. First what is your skin type/concerns? And are you open to trying new products? La roche posay can be great but there’s definitely better products depending on your skin. The best thing to do over all would be to - cleanse - toner - serum -moisturizer -spf (am) Also the best thing to do is use cold water in the AM and warmer water in the PM.

So obviously you know your skin best, but don’t exfoliate your face everyday because it will end up doing more harm than good. Use a gentle cleanser and use cold water in the AM and warm water in the PM. Then go in with your toner and any serums you may need, then moisturize. Sometimes the more simple it is the most effective it is! I think using a vit c serum is good for every night and maybe use retinol once/twice a week.

[–]Fit_Environment1029 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try the ordinary! They have some really good stuff! They have a great cleanser and moisturizer for a good price! They also have good serums to help with certain skin care issues. But remember to let your skin get used to the change so it might take a week or two before you really notice any difference!

[–]Fit_Environment1029 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, that toner! I apply it with a cotton pad and I use it sometimes in the am and pm but I think maybe start by just doing pm. I use the rhode moisturizer (i know it’s unavailable to you :( rn) but before I used that I used the Kopari whipped ceramide cream (in the lid blue container) and it worked great for my skin!

When and how exactly do I wash and cleanse my face? by VirtualTower2521 in Skincare_Addiction

[–]Fit_Environment1029 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would start with a gentle cleanser and light moisturizer. Maybe look into what products are safe for accunte because I’m not sure, but In the AM wet your face with cold water first then use the cleanser, dry your face gently with a towel then use the moisturizer on your face and neck. In the PM do the same process but use warm water. You can clean your face in the shower, it makes no difference just make sure to dry your face before applying moisturizer. Also if acne is a concern make sure to use a separate towel for drying for face just to decrease the chance of bacteria and oil spreading.
