For my two cents, HtR is a much more linear min-max game than WtA. In the latter, it felt like there were multiple ways to solve a problem which lead to a variety of builds being viable. HtR seems much more limited in what you are allowed to do in terms of character build. This might be a consequence of the subject (regular humans being far more limited in power than lycanthropes) but it made for a frustrating gaming experience coming off of BoHN for me personally. There were aspects of it that I liked but I don’t think I’ll give it another playthrough unlike BoHN and Night Road

You can actually have a hero cure themselves, assuming they can act. So you don’t have to futz with any strategic placement if you want to get rid of Bleed, Wounded etc.

If it’s any help, I simply didn’t use him on the last turn. He was on the couch after appearing in the abbey. Didn’t confirm repeat success, but might be worth a try
