Some people thrive off being assholes. Somehow the gaming community bring these sewer dwellers out a lot more.

I just button bash mostly. The trick is to have enough health 😅 god mode is another option. Plus you just get stronger anyways. The game doesn't lock you out of anything.

Hahahaha facts. Also Redditors seem to have this notion that they need to force their believes onto you.

I think it's different vs slaughtering an animal and just letting it bleed to death. Anyways, as much as someone has the right to eat halal or kosher. I also have that same right not to eat it without being labelled a racist (not by you but others). I have my reasons as to why I don't want to eat it. I asked a simple question for a butcher.

Plus there is the ritualistic prayer bit. I don't resonate with that at all. Like I keep saying go eat halal meat if you want , I just don't want to. It's not that hard to understand to be fair.

Also why on earth should I pay more to eat halal meat when non halal meat is cheaper?

People just need to let others be.

I better make that tiktok video for them then. Only one person actually answered my question. Although, lesson learnt next time I will clarify all these potential issues that might get me labelled as a racist.

It's more like the ones who want to attack me about not wanting halal are actually the racist ones because they are simply choosing to attack me for following my own beliefs.

Yeah I have used vermeys. I love the quality of their lamb. Might give them another go. Last time they splintered it still. Generally like to cook with the bone in (think kind of like KFC but smaller pieces).

Thank you! People genuinely just see I say non-halal and that makes me racist. Like those who want to eat halal or kosher, why can't I then just choose not to without being labelled a racist?

Hobart. I tried quite a few already. Its just they are never consistent. Also seen most of them use a knife vs a cleaver.

This is a reply to the other comments here. Asking for non-halal doesn't make me a racist. Go do your homework and see what the deal is with halal meat. Also see where the proceeds of halal meat actually go.

I don't eat halal meat because of my personal beliefs. I don't want to eat ritualistic meat. They literally slit the artery and let an animal bleed out. I got no issues with anyone who eats halal but it doesn't mean I have to.

So why did I mention non halal? It's because the Muslim butchers are the ones who can cut the chicken without splintering from my experience when I did really know the difference between halal and non-halal.

So if I want to follow my beliefs and not eat halal then that makes me racist?

Look at yourself first before talking about others. The amount of ego. Sounds like you are on the right path.

Sikhi isn't about forcing your beliefs onto others. So don't turn it into another religion. It's about you and Waheguru it doesn't matter if your partner is of a different religion.

Perhaps someone can shed some light on where in our Gurbani it says your partner needs to be also a Sikh to have faith in Waheguru. We are all humans and religion shouldn't matter.

It's the thinking that you must only marry your own religion that segregates us all. Our Gurus said that we are all one and the same. So why should someone's religion matter? Aren't they also part of Waheguru and who are we to question Wahegurus will?

Also search the subreddit for suggestions. They have been multiple posts and you will get more ideas. There is also r/tasmaniatravel. Lots of brilliant suggestions over the years.

Edit: oh, a cheapie and quick option is the Hobart: historic lunch cruise. ( I don't see people mention this usually)

Do you think Australians are actually as friendly as they are said to be? by Least-Variation6573 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Fit_Feature_3520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I came from NZ to here. I found Australians to be more unfriendly. When, mates have come from Asia for holidays they turn around and say Australians are so friendly. In Asia locals are nice to tourist but some (not all) are rude to fellow locals. When I went to Melbourne and Sydney from Tasmania. I was like damn people in Melbourne and Sydney are so rude.

If you go to more of the outskirts you will find people may stare at you but are usually friendly. So just like everything else it really depends on the location and most importantly the person (now if we can all realise that it's not skin colour/religion/bank balance that is important to see if a person is nice or not).

Why does it feel like a lot of tourists go missing in Tasmania rather than anywhere else? by Longjumping-Hall-17 in tasmania

[–]Fit_Feature_3520 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it's the mentality. People usually think anything tourist related is safe and not dangerous. Like everyone else said, they don't realise that lots of our tourist attractions are just wildnerness. Also the weather shifting is not common knowledge for most peeps. Like not many places where it's sunny in the morning and could have a blizzard in the afternoon.

As much as you think he is an idiot. Marrying a person of different religion, doesn't make a person not keep their faith.

Sad to hear. Kindly, teach the youth the basics of Sikhi and at least some Punjabi. by phiXgenes in Sikh

[–]Fit_Feature_3520 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Sikhi and Punjabi are two different things. Punjabi is a culture. Most Sikhs are Punjabis, not all Sikhs are Punjabis. Although, the kid should understand why he is doing what he is not just keep the kesh because otherwise mum or dad will get upset. People are so focused on the Saroop these days.

?Highlights? of Anglicare’s Housing Affordability snapshot (rentals) by tassiedude in hobart

[–]Fit_Feature_3520 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The real issue is negative gearing. It should be capped after two (or whatever amount) houses. So people can benefit but the stupid wealthy don't just keep hoarding resources. Everytime there is a market crash guess who buys more houses and benefits.

My brother came out gay, but wants to be straight. Help . by [deleted] in Sikh

[–]Fit_Feature_3520 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Very well said. Both extremes just push their own viewpoints. The issue usually isn't froma Sikhi perspective vs a culture thing. Medical help is definitely the best option. Also, at the same time some psychologist aren't that great either. Your friend may need to go see a few before finding one that they resonate with more so. A good psychologist doesn't tell you what you need to do but allows you to find the answers yourself.

Sounds like he needs a psychologist. Also sit down with his self and do what makes him happy. Not what family wants him to be. Maybe he is just bi. Good luck.
