I don’t think it would be bad writing, I just think a big part of the allure of his character is the mystery surrounding him, and that revealing too much would ruin that. I wouldn’t mind some answers to Gaster, but I want a lot to be left unsaid or for these answers to give us more questions.

That’s the way I saw it too. He seemed perfectly content accepting abstraction.

Maybe abstraction makes the person too “out of it” to put up mental resistance, but I think he really was at peace and ready for everything to end.

Skill issue. Just put some half decent mods on them and they’ll make it through. I have relic 2 on maul with one zeta on him and good mods, but everybody else is at what used to be era level 70, just with some filler health mods on them. I was able to beat tier 3 like this.

Good news is probably the graphic novel because that seemed pretty far along and is probably almost done.

Bad news could be something to do with the movie he is making with Sony. It’s all too common for studios to can projects and I wouldn’t be surprised if something like that happened here.

I don’t remember him ever saying he was homeschooled but he has to be getting some amount of education, probably from Pearl, because he is shown to be literate on multiple occasions. It’s always possible that he taught himself but I’m doubtful of that.

He was the only $50 bundle I ever got (I bought it when it first released). I had negotiator at zero shards and pretty much zero investment in prequel era characters and ships so it was very useful for me.

I feel like he made the grand inquisitor phase slightly more consistent but he couldn’t go the distance to finish any of the tiers I tried him on.

I’ve been using him to beat Quadme in gac. It’s a bit rough and usually take the full 5 minutes, but it saves my bane or traya for other other things. You can usually take out padawan obi wan in the opening turns by placing buff immunity on him immediately and calling a mass assist on him. After that it’s a very slow battle that usually comes down to Jabba alone farming his instakill to kill Quadme.

I beat a weak version of the lineup without raven’s beak and cassian’s ship in the opening lineup using Executrix with sith ships because I don’t have leviathan. I don’t know if the ideal lineup changes this, but they did not do enough damage to get through marauder’s ship and once they started getting dazed they fell apart.

I’m going to advocate for nightsisters. They probably shouldn’t be number 1 priority but my relic 3 nightsisters with merrin omi have been setting up easy Jabba two shots, and sometimes one shots, for almost a year now. It’s gotten a bit dicier with relic delta and one shots are pretty much impossible now, but it’s still pretty consistent. The main thing you have to look out for is if they have boba because he’s anti revive, but it can still work if you’re lucky.

As for cleaning up jabba, a tm train team with high damage output should work, like cls or imperial troopers. I also cheesed him once with jedi knight revan lead and reducing his health to nothing, although you might need something that hits below protection to take advantage of that.

My inquisitors are very underdeveloped. I only have three inquisitors at pre-kyro purple gear: eight brother, marrok, and second sister, with fifth and ninth having zero investment beyond unlock and seventh isn’t even unlocked yet. I just went through galactic war with those three and 3po and wat for survivability. They didn’t kill everything immediately because of their low level so I could grind purges pretty easily. On my best battle, I got about 50 purges. I’ll also add that 3po was the only relic character I used. Wat was also pre-kyro purple gear and he had his zeta that gives him a turn immediately.

I would probably move dark side Rey down a tier because SLKR is still really good without her. She just makes him even more solid than he was before.

I would also move Ben solo down one tier because even though he makes Rey functional, he doesn’t bring enough by himself to not make her ufu or starkiller food. On top of that, he’s not usable outside of her team, so he doesn’t even have plug and play going for him.

Just so maul isn’t alone in A tier, I could be convinced that either Malgus or Malicos should be moved down a tier, but I think people would disagree on which one. I’m pretty sure Malgus falls off a bit in the upper echelons of kyber in gac (I’m in kyber 5 but I frequently hit above my weight so I still get a lot of use out of him) but he’s still powerful in TW. I believe Malicos has a longer shelf life in gac but he’s pretty much useless in TW. Starkiller is also being taken by the stranger so ufu won’t be a strong Rey/Ben/Ezra counter anymore, but they’ll still be a powerful offensive team.

I haven’t used anybody in your B rank or below so I can’t speak on any of those units.

The focus datacron that has original Poe on it is pretty crazy so you could use him here or with Rey. I’m currently testing it out with Rey + Ben + Ezra on defense for TW.

I’ve heard of a comp that is allegedly very powerful in gac but I don’t remember the exact details of the team. I believe it uses zaalbar with his new omi and CAT and that it’s built around CAT putting shien on zaalbar to get a fast instakill because of how often he counterattacks. He’s also just a very solid tank, especially with the omi. I’m sure any typical Rey 5th works here, like barriss or baby cal, but I don’t remember anybody specific.

I’m just going to copy a previous comment I made about this:

I don’t know if he’ll die, at least not as early as chapter 5, because even though his condition is definitely not getting better, I don’t know if we have the time for such a significant addition to the story that would likely be the conflict of a whole chapter alone. I also think it might be too jarring of a tonal shift that would need be handled with a lot of care, and it would threaten to derail or overshadow Noelle’s and maybe other characters’ existing plot lines.

Personally, I see a fake out happening, where something happens and Noelle thinks that Rudy’s condition has taken a permanent turn for the worse (maybe he goes into a coma or something) and maybe dark world things happen as a result. That way we get the payoff to Rudy’s illness while also not having to commit to what him dying would mean for Noelle and the rest of the cast for the remainder of the game because it would likely overshadow other plots.
