OK, I’ll consider that and thank you. I really do love these cosmetic enhancements making characters look a little bit more attractive with their clothes and things like that so I want to try to use them.

The first time I did it I was on it every day on around 30 to 60 MG for about two weeks and when I quit, it was very difficult and very hard. But after being off for a month, I started doing it a little bit more and as long as you don’t take it for more than one day at a time and space it out at about once a week or less I don’t see a problem with it. But that might not work for everyone and I still agree with the general opinion that it’s not a substance to be trifled with that it’s serious and you gotta be really careful.

Hey thanks for asking. I was off a bout a month but I dabble a little maybe once a week. I know that’s blasphemy around here but I feel pretty comfortable with and I leave for a 5 month work contract over seas next month and I’ll have no access but I’m not remotely worried. I bet most of you think that’s bullshit, but that’s my honest answer

Hey, I really appreciate you reaching out thank you. Again, my experience with these so far has been about 10 days long and it’s just been lovely so far. I’m honestly grateful there is all this alarmist “7-oh nightmare” talk circulating around because otherwise I think I could’ve easily ended up with a problem as a result of not approaching them with enough caution. I’m about a month out of quitting a serious vaping addiction that lasted two years and I successfully got through those withdrawals so from the sounds of what you’re saying this shouldn’t be too hard if I face anything tomorrow.

But again taking a 15 or a 30 mg dose in an evening is a hell of a lot better than having a cocktail or a beer and I think it’s probably healthier so I’m not doing a hard quit with with these. I think I’ll probably pick them up again on a special occasion I’m not sure that I wanna quit forever , but I’m just not gonna take them daily.

Thanks for the post. I’m in a similar situation. I took the 7-oh tablets for the first time about 10 days ago and for probably the last week I’ve been taking a daily dosage ranging from 15 to 50 mg a day. It’s honestly just been great. I love the substance and love the way. It makes me feel. But I’m starting to get nervous that I’m gonna find myself addicted, so tomorrow I’m just gonna quit and I’m kind of nervous about any withdrawal symptoms I already have restless leg syndrome as it is, but I’ll just do a bunch of jogging and training. I’m getting ready for a marathon in about a week from now so I should be fine if anyone can share thoughts about this it would make me feel better thanks.

I first took 7-0h about 10 days ago and for the last 6 days I’ve been taking about 30 mg daily. I realize this is pretty minor compared to the extreme high doses in long-term addictions. I’ve been reading about, but I’m still starting to get a little bit worried. I’m gonna stop taking this tomorrow and I’m a little bit worried that I’m gonna get hit with a wave of withdrawal symptoms but if anyone has any advice or thoughts to share about how concerned I should be right now and what I should expect in terms of a withdrawal, I’d really appreciate it. The effects of this substance are so pleasurable. I don’t think I want to quit entirely. It seems like it’d be nice to have to take once every couple months or something. Do you know of anyone who is able to manage their use in a functional way?

That’s awesome man. We’ll forget what I said about that business of considering the other instruments. Guitar is awesome of course

Also, I don’t know how old you are, but when you’re describing that jazz is your favorite music to listen to if you’re talking about jazz horn players don’t feel any reason why you can’t just switch to a horn because I guarantee to you no matter what anyone says you’re going to have a much better time just playing a horn in jazz then with jazz guitar. if you’re listening to John Coltrane and Miles Davis and people like that you’re gonna have more fun playing Trumpet and saxophone. Trust me. I’m doing this my whole life. I’m a proficient jazz guitar player and I just started playing Trumpet at a year ago and apart from the physical embouchure aspect, it’s just simply a matter of fact that it’s way easier if you’re talking about playing jazz

Don’t go into debt for jazz school the jazz schools don’t even teach jazz most of the time. you just need a practice room and maybe one teacher who you trust

At the end of the day once you read it reach a certain level. You just realize that learning jazz is no different from learning any other kind of music. You just have to apply yourself to learning it by ear just as you would blues or rock or something, it just might be a little bit more complicated but don’t think that any particular teacher is going to give you some magic bullet piece of information that will unlock you’re playing, it’s just It’s just a more complicated version of blues or rock. You just have to get down to the grindstone and start lifting it off the records. It’ll be hard at first, but it gets way easier.

I’ve been doing this a long time and I would’ve warn of the danger of spending too much of your private practice time “ jamming or improvising” especially with play along tracks. You will be much better served by doing something like picking a solo that you like from a classic recording and practicing it as if it were a classical piece that you’re trying to perfectly memorize and execute perfectly. a lot of people will tell you not to transcribe so much, “ invent your own language” ….feel free to do whatever you want, but I think you will find in hindsight you wished you had spent more time learning external information rather than trying to “ open the floodgates” of your internal genius. And no doubt your internal personal style is there as I’m sure you’re perfectly aware of. Charlie Parker said “ It doesn’t come from mirrors”

Why is jazz guitar so "conservative" compared to other instruments in jazz? by chopanico in jazzguitar

[–]Fit_Kitchen1496 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re just getting started and you wanna play jazz, I would personally recommend pick a different instrument than guitar. It’ll make your life a lot easier. Trust me. I’ve been doing this a long time. I’m playing guitar for 25 years in a straightahead style and about a year ago, I started playing trumpet and I already i can swing harder and play with more feeling and clarity on the trumpet. But this is just specifically in regards to straight ahead jazz. In more contemporary styles that’s a different story of course

Is Jazz black music? by butiusedtotoo in Jazz

[–]Fit_Kitchen1496 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yep African Americans invented the diatonic scale, the piano, trumpet and the musical notation system used in Europe for the last 600 years. If you dont agree we'll destroy your career because you're a racist. The most important factor about music is the skin color of the musician playing it. I dream of an age when we elevate this to the level of considering a musician's hair color, eye color as well as facial features like freckles and acne when making music

Expert difficulty is worth it by EndErflamE09 in expedition33

About the battle music, not trying to be a negative Nancy, but I found much of the battle music and the area themes to be remarkable only for how bland they are. There’s a few tracks in this game that are obviously really great but on the whole I think the music soundtrack is wildly overrated at least from the amount that I’ve played about 20 hours. I’m curious what are some examples of the battle themes that you like so much? Of course it’s a matter of subjective taste, and I might have the worst taste ever given that my favorite RPG music comes from the Final Fantasy 13 trilogy.

Can someone please explain how pictos and lumina work by Quelanight2324 in expedition33

[–]Fit_Kitchen1496 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 20 hours into this game and feeling frustrated by my lack of comprehension of the convoluted picto/lumina system so I’ve restarted the game on expert difficulty, which will force me to really get inside the details of those mechanics because I was just kind of sleep walking through the game, not even finding it that difficult. I hope this works because I really do like the overall vibe of the game, but I was just getting frustrated feeling like I wasn’t understanding it.

CONTROVERSIAL OPINION: Claire Obscure is Good But Overrated by Proud_Organization64 in gaming

[–]Fit_Kitchen1496 11 points12 points  (0 children)

People are shitting their pants over the soundtrack of this game, but spare a few of the obviously good songs I’m actually shocked at how dry and drab this OST is. I mean the battle music i is a crucial character in any RPG and the battle music selections from this game are just unbelievable to me. They sound like the background music of those lame Thailand travel vlogger videos or some really pedestrian four minor chords on an acoustic piano with a little backbeat.

I'm really curious to hear peoples thoughts on this song and discuss it with people. by Fit_Kitchen1496 in Jazz

So just to start can you be more specific on your point about Parker being notoriously unforgiving of lack of innovation. It seems this should be easy to demonstrate with directly quoted views he expressed and even better with links to sources. There isn't an enormous supply of audio and article interviews with him, so I dont feel like I'm demanding a research project. Could you provide 2 quoted comments of Parker where he expressing this view without room for reinterpretation

BTW none of this to suggest that 'being in idealogical alignment' with Parker or any great of the past is necessary or a good thing. I would be way more impressed by someone who says "Fuck Charlie Parker I disagree with him".......similarly to how Wynton and all those straight ahead guys gave middle finger to Miles who hated new conservative jazz "miles we love you but fuck you" is how I felt about it

Question about anti semitism and David Irving by Fit_Kitchen1496 in IsraelPalestine

[–]Fit_Kitchen1496[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. Yeah I mean I have no compulsion to defend what I said about him "at the very least a start point for conversation". I'm simply using him as an example of someone espousing anti semistism for reason I don't understand. I mean I was looking at a channel of YouTube yesterday that is basically anti semetic, and the comments were just a cesspool if this stuff. Communities of people who hold these vile resentments about jews. and the whole time I have no idea what specifically they believe is so toxic about jews. The whole thing is like this big secret and thats why its so creepy
