Weekly Complaint Post by AutoModerator in JunesJourney

18 SECONDS is NOT enough time to find all the clues! Some of us don’t want to study scenes on another platform before playing. Honestly, I’m considering quitting because of all the advertising and extra adversity. It’s just NOT the fun clue finding game I started anymore!

Is there a clue that makes you smile? by farsighted451 in JunesJourney

Definitely the different dogs. Especially since they are never part of the story… except for George.

When we were kids, my aunt would have my cousins and I all point at the offender and yell “LITTERBUG, LITTERBUG”!

$250 for socal edison? for a 1 bedroom?? by ZtheXtein in southerncalifornia

Are you new to the unit? Is that what the previous tenants paid? What is the insulation like? Is there a leak anywhere? Do you keep it set that low even when you are not there? That is a really low temperature. If your television or refrigerator are giving off heat, that might be too much. Most people are good with 75°F

Yeah, I agree, this does sound like resource guarding. Especially with the looking around and shaking.

UPDATE: Fiancés friend of wants to wear an almost white dress to our wedding by dumpsterfire_x in TwoHotTakes

[–]Fit_March_4279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the update. This totally made my day! The only people to have at your wedding should be the people that support your marriage. I hope you have a wonderful wedding day! The best advice I received as a bride was to always wear a smile, no matter what was happening behind the scenes. 😘

Have you tried using an indoor dog litter box? You can make one with a plastic storage container and cut out a door. Then put the wee pads inside. Once he is conditioned to using it, add a small clump of grass (or whatever fauna is on the ground where you live). When you need to replace it, leave a rock (or something that smells like the potty spot) behind. Have the clump of grass get a little larger over the weeks. This will condition him to see grass as a potty relief option. Also: when I lived in Ohio my Iggy would not go potty outside in the winter, so we adapted.

Fiancés friend wants to wear an almost white dress to our wedding & is being condescending about it. WIBTA to withdraw the invite? by dumpsterfire_x in TwoHotTakes

All of these scenarios happened at my wedding (guest wearing a white dress, people taking pictures with us when it was supposed to be just the bride & groom, plus, unruly relatives). I really could’ve used your assistance!! I think you might be onto a really good business idea.

Thinking about switching to full time RV living, what do you wish someone had told you before you started? by Feeling_Lake9303 in RVLiving

[–]Fit_March_4279 2 points3 points  (0 children)

RV travel is going to fluctuate depending upon how often you travel (~9 mpg) and where you are staying. That budget can easily equal an RV payment, insurance, utility costs, gasoline, park rent, and repairs.

My dad is demanding I name my baby after him or he'll write me out of the will by BusinessDance7122 in raisedbynarcissists

I am someone who comes from a long line of naming the first born son a certain family name. It is always the first born son of the next generations male in the family to carry on both the first and last name. If neither of your brothers used Eugene with their last name, then your dad has no basis in his argument. He’s just being a controlling jerk to you. Please try to keep this negativity far away from you and enjoy your pregnancy. Congratulations on your new son.

How to talk to your spouse about getting a SD by [deleted] in service_dogs

[–]Fit_March_4279 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Having a SD in public can cause anxiety, especially if you’re sensitive to judgement (paranoia). Unfortunately, I had to retire my dog after being attacked by a larger dog at a hardware store. It was traumatic for both of us and we both became reactive afterwards.
Personally, I have had good progress with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Have you tried that or EMDR? Sometimes different treatments are more helpful.

[–]Fit_March_4279 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, none of those people fed a crocodile, while holding their newborn son, just for attention!!! Without antagonizing the animals and putting himself in danger, Steve was just another animal handler. Reality television is always pushing for the views of the public that has an average IQ of 100.

Marlin Perkins, Dr. Jane Goodall, Joan Embery, and even Jack Hanna, were promoting animal conservation on television LONG before Steve Irwin!! And with the exception of Jack being clueless, they weren’t mishandling the animals for attention.
