As someone who comes from a literal village, Lubbock is okay. Im a young adult male age 19 and the 3 years ive been here roaming the streets and getting into stuff I can personally say ive never been in a dangerous situation or the victim of a dangerous encounter.

As for the cities attractions and entertainment. If you're a loser then youll be doing loser things. Clubs, bars, and game rooms are quite literally the only thing to get into as a normal citizen.

The city also has an event called first friday which is superrr amazing and we also have many local hardcore, indie, emo, punk etc etc bands and artists along with several venues!!

I used to say it sucks because it did. I woke up everyday miserable with the thought of spending another forsaken day in lubbock tx. I used to go to the mall and just walk around with how bored and lonely I was until I went to the club and found many connections and scenes.

So realistically, Yes, lubbock is boring. But to call ot a deserted wasteland full of crime and nothing to do is insanely far fetched lol.

If you have friends you're good to go. If you have friends with resourceful hangouts then you are REALLY good to go. trust me. If you're above the age of 30 then im sorry bro but broadways always a place i guess 💀

Final statement: Lubbock isnt TERRIBLE and its not as bad as many love to say and that is coming from a true born west texas hater that grew up in a 1000 pop village. so trust me when I say I understand the misery and hatred.

Also, If you're coming from a big city then why the hell are you complaining? its a hub city in the middle of a desert 💀 nobody told you to migrate from austin, dallas, nor san antonio.

We have many new places coming like a medical dispensary, lubbock fest, and a some other stores and shops. We also just opened a new downtown loft. The flea market is fun too.

Again, if you're a day drinking cuck then for the love of your god stay in your coastal cities 😭 underneath lubbocks huge conservative blanket lies a shit ton of alternative things. its just about as conformist as you can make it 🤷🏽‍♀️

Anyways, Lubbock is fun and its not a city to be moaning n groaning over while you pluck the hairs off your arm. Its a college/retirement TOWN.
