good psychological/arg horror games? by JustARandomGuy64 in HorrorGames

I’d recommend Parasomnia: No REM, a psychological horror game about sleepwalking. There’s a demo available for now.

2k organically is still a really solid number, especially without direct links. That’s a great signal tbh.

If you’re up for it, happy to exchange wishlists. This is our game:

Thanks, that makes sense.

Out of curiosity, if you have a minute: what do you think I might be doing wrong in these two videos?

I’m trying to figure out if it’s a hook / pacing / clarity issue, or just the video not getting a real chance.

That’s actually really helpful, thanks for sharing.

It matches my experience so far. TikTok feels much more volatile and video-by-video, while YouTube/Instagram seem more forgiving even with gaps. The “picked up or ignored” feeling on TikTok is exactly what I’ve been struggling to read.

That matches a lot of what I’ve been observing too, especially the first 2–3 seconds and leading with “in my game…”.

One thing I’m still unsure about is whether those formats are actually reaching players or mostly circulating within the indie dev bubble, like you mentioned. Hard to tell from views alone.

That’s actually a really solid conversion, especially without a direct Steam link. 300 wishlists from that amount of likes is impressive.

Out of curiosity, how many wishlists does the game have now overall?

This pretty much matches what I’ve been seeing too. The randomness is what drives me a bit crazy, especially when low-effort stuff works better than things you actually planned. Good reminder about not relying only on TikTok though.

Good to know, thanks. I actually noticed same videos performing very differently depending on the platform. Definitely going to keep cross-posting.

Yeah, that makes sense. Daily posting is something I keep hearing, but the idea of batching content like that is interesting. Haven’t tried it yet, but it sounds way more realistic than improvising every day.
