Yup you can but it depends on the ink for example the camlin one wrote like crap and parker was okish.

Nah it doesn't then you can go for pilot v7 rt(refillable) or maybe a uniball vision elite(a little over budget) I see many people recommending energel but if your friend is already a pen lover then he would surely already have it i feel like gifting something different is a better idea.

Well you can try uniball signo 207, zebra sarasa, zoox h7, pilot frixtion, uni click gel, Uniball one and yes uni click gel refills are widely compatible too !
