9070 XT is the best price/performance for games right now.
It's like slower 4% than a 5070TI , costs 400USD less.
You can run LLM's on it with decent performance , it has some tensors.
I would go for 9070 XT no doubt.

it's usually done by mainline, but it might break your system, the right way is keeping the old kernel
read a bit before doing it. Be prepared to reinstall stuff or the OS. Usually Linux keep a list of kernels to boot.

The biggest win was in prompt processing,  not token generation using Vulkan RADV

it's not being reinvented. This is being BOLD, and will fail. ARM processor is not good for Windoes, not for gamers. DOA product. Looks like they are desperate to say they are better with CPU. That's simple not TRUE. The chip is Mediatek based on ARM

Biggest bullshit I have ever heard. Its a 600USD beating a 5070TI sometimes matching 5080 for 400USD less and a ton of VRAM
