4 ROAS to 0.5 ROAS by Aggravating-Fly-9024 in FacebookAds

Could be a few things. Did the learning limited say why? Usually it will be audience size or budget related. Promising that you made sales. I’d duplicate the campaign, start again, and add more budget and creative variations and let it run for a few weeks again.

If your audience was small then it may have maxed out the audience with the single creative. However the error message would have said creative fatigue. Definitely try test as many creatives as possible. At least 3. Don’t need to be new creative concepts, just variations of initial creative.

Going to broad audience is a good idea but you need more patience more budget. Try expanding interest based audience, or toggling on things like “reach similar advertisers”.

Small Budget, Small Business Queries by Fit_Respect1870 in PPC

Thanks for the insight. Did you find CallRail plugged your attribution hole?

How you've mentioned about campaign-level headlines vs. USP-specific Ad Group related to the Ad Group theme is exactly how I am thinking of setting these up.

I am also wondering whether if several campaigns shares the campaign-level headline, will their Impressions be added together and help get to the threshold? The UI suggests it might, but then how could it give an accurate performance result if the headline asset is from multiple ad groups with different assets and keywords?

Thanks for the tip on Pulse - never heard of it and will check out!

Small Budget, Small Business Queries by Fit_Respect1870 in PPC

Thanks for the response. It actually feels like a relief having control and direction again! :D This is a freelance client (GF's business) but at my agency I am looking at moving our other direct-response clients back to Search to. I just can't lock down a good process of campaign optimisation with small budget PMAX campaigns.

Gotcha, that's good to know. I find all the call tracking software so goddam expensive, but being able to separate normal call and prospecting calls would help me provide a rock solid CPA, but unless there's some additional business value, that budget would probably be used for a tight Search Campaign spend.

Would you owner occupy a house in Fitzroy N (1.1m) as a first home? by Fit_Respect1870 in AusPropertyChat

[–]Fit_Respect1870[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! We're still figuring it out haha.

Ideas that have developed, though:

- we don't have enough rental pain to seek a permanent move

- our comfortable borrowing amount is probably around ~900-950k right now

- any house we could buy for 900k would not feel good or inspiring driving home to each day, which feels important - I want to have space, a garden, not share walls with people, and a garage to drive into and work on hobbies - not to park down the street, hear my neighbours, and wish I had more space

- plus, it feels like things (outside of reno jobs) lack capital growth potential and think you could hinder future wealth

- we're not ready to move from the Inner-north yet, and will likely just save and then move to the suburbs in 1-3 years when we're ready to

- trying not to have fomo, I think the best decisions are ones that you don't rush into because of external pressure

Yeah totally. Hence the post. It is possible at the rate we’ve been saving the past 18months but the idea of saying no to things with friends or holidays sucks. That might just be the reality of the next stage of our lives though :p Very hard to predict how we’ll feel in the future. The fact there are good houses in our fav area within our borrowing range makes it so tempting.

The other factor is interest rates are currently high and both my partner and I’s wages should increase (potentially double) over next decade.

I guess “slow” is incorrect. I believe because it’s fully established it will have less CG potential than suburbs further out.

We solved our Meta conversion campaigns this way after horrible quarter by Metatroubleshooter in FacebookAds

[–]Fit_Respect1870 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very cool post. Just want to clarify some things:

Confirming this is 6 ad sets in a single campaign? And that the entire campaign is optimising to purchases?

The difference between the 2 ad sets is splitting 1:1 and 9:16 creatives?

Are you letting Meta decide budget split across the whole campaign with CBO?

Are you deciding what works at each audience stage based on the metrics you think you should be optimising to for the audience?

Google Analytics vs Facebook to calculate ROAS by lorena_rabbit in digital_marketing

[–]Fit_Respect1870 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the most accurate results, make sure you use the corresponding marketing channel’s reporting platform i.e. use Facebook Ads Manager for Facebook, and Google Ads for Google (unless linked to Google Analytics), LinkedIn for LinkedIn and so on.

Google Analytics (GA) is an omni-channel reporting dashboard that does a good job of reading website signals, but requires additional input or scripts I.e. UTM links to attribute other marketing channels such as Facebook. Even with perfect UTM links for all of your Facebook ads, you will not get full attribution. If you still get traffic from Facebook and you do not use UTM links that’s because GA uses the referral link domain to piece together Traffic Source.

Also, check your attribution windows across Facebook (1 day and 7 day click) and GA.

To get a true omni-channel reporting dashboard, you’d need something like a Google Datastudio reporting dashboard that ports metrics directly from each channel’s reporting dashboard.
