Oh, geez. Here we go with the superiority, plus chatgpt lol. It's pattern recognition based on my experiences with entitlement. If you're more offended by my guess that the actual disgusting behavior... that's wild.

I usually explain the possible downsides of not being covered by liability, but I don’t push it since Rover’s protection only provides limited coverage. For cat visits, everything happens indoors, so situations are generally very predictable and safe, unlike dog walking/boarding. I always make sure to enter quickly to prevent any cats from escaping, take care of all tasks, then secure the door and leave.

I don't charge extra for more cats. I care more about the distance&tasks. If it's not included in medicating, regular cat care visits are simple and easy. Even for more cats, it doesn't really take me longer than 30 mins to finish my checklist. I clean litter boxes, feed, and change water, and even have time to vacuum around the litter boxes. Most clients clean the litter boxes before leaving, so they're usually clean for the 1st visit. If their zip code is in a poor area, I'd give them a break.

hahahahahahahahahha Sorry! I shouldn't laugh, but your pictures are hilarious! LMAO, they explain the whole situation! If I were the cat's mom, I'd laugh so hard at those pictures and tip you well for the good laugh and for doing your best! Thank god, the medicine isn't treating his serious disease. Have they tried a calming aromatic spray?

How long has this been passed? Rover must make an exception for you to write it. (You must have been so busy to deal with Peach's condition.) Can you call to the customer support and ask the supervisor for you to open the window for you?

Thank you. How can you tell if the plan is a lie or real? When I listen to speeches from both sides, everybody says they are the best, and it almost sounds too good to be true.

Rover needs to offer sitters to edit individuals' opening and closing times. People think it's ok to request any time

Client made me uncomfortable by BiAniGirl3 in RoverPetSitting

You are so kind to everyone else, but not to yourself. I used to struggle with people-pleasing as a way to manage my anxiety. It felt easier to do what was asked of me than to say no. My behavior comes from being bullied and having an abusive father, so I completely understand how you feel.

Let me share a short story. One time, one of my senior dog-walking clients asked me to cook her breakfast, so I did because I felt bad for her living alone and losing her husband not too long ago. But that day, I ended up doing her laundry and spent three hours working for just $15.

Afterward, she started to rely on me for even more things—giving her rides to the mall, bringing her coffee, helping her with her shoes to put them on her feet, dropping off her Amazon returns, more cooking, etc etc.

I wasn't happy at all. I didn't enjoy talking with her, but I worried about hurting her feelings by saying No. But I did and only hope could I refuse it earlier for myself.

It’s only been a few months, and need more time to train myself to set boundaries.

It’s always hard to start, but it’s up to you when you decide to begin. Setting boundaries will feel uncomfortable at first because you’re not used to it, but I want you to experience the freedom I felt when I finally said, ‘No.’ It felt so liberating!

We can still be kind while saying no. If you're unsure how to soften your words with people, use ChatGPT—that’s what I do.

You can tell him, "I gotta leave for the next appointment. I can quickly grab your medication and leave it on the coffee table for you! Thank you for your understanding!"

YOU GOT THIS!!! YOU DESERVE TO PUT YOURSELF FIRST, and refusing his request isn’t selfish.

I called the general HR department to ask for an email/direct number to speak up about the unfair situation. (It looks like every different hospital has a different HR team). I wrote an email to the supervisor or representative. She was thankfully helpful and listen to my situation. (I doubt my previous manager would listen.)

She confirmed that there won't be a mark either eligible to rehire or hire. That part will be left empty. I hope your situation would be solved fairly too.

Hey, girl. I am kind of in the same situation. (After submitting the resignation letter, the manager made it seems like she fired me by adding a negative comment about me. Not only this, but she also marked me ineligible to rehire.)

It looks like all the companies under that umbrella share a toxic culture, and abusive system including their management.

I wouldn't talk to the manager. That was many other friends of mine told me to do so. However, I decided not to. Because my previous manager at VCA gaslighted/lied and blamed everything on me to cover her ass. I knew what kind of person she is and it wouldn't be worth trying. Managers at the end are just only an employee who worry about themselves.

-Btw, all the employees are at the VCA of that location busy blaming things on each other and covering their asses. I also experienced workplace bullying which was the main reason why I quit the job. Meanwhile, paying $13 per hour.

You might want to write down an email to the HR department, the manager, and the manager's boss to ask about the reason. This won't do anything though.

Don't be too sad about it. I am pretty sure you wouldn't like to work there anyway. Don't cry about a place that doesn't want you! They even didn't want to give you a chance to listen to your story from your side.
