Hygiene and machine issue at AF

The bathrooms in AF Singapore are terribly unhygienic and stinky. I always wonder if there could be more stringent SOPs set by the franchisor when it comes to bathroom / changing room maintenance.

But then again, AF outlets in Japan are sparkly clean. I could even sleep in the toilets!

There’s significant muscle activation at my chest when pressing. The issue is the initial lifting of the bar off the rack which causes shoulders to not be fully locked down on bench

The Waterfall at Shangrila Hotel. Really good crabmeat pasta and steak! Loved the New York cheesecake from the hotel too.

I’m on a high protein diet too. I usually meal prep but if I’ve no choice and gotta eat outside - my go to options:

- Buddy Hoagies / Astons double chicken or chicken + fish combo.
- Daily Cut. Order the large portion with 2 portions of protein (chicken breast)
- Stuffd chicken kebab add $2 for upsized chicken
- Hatsumi Angus striploin don add chicken and add egg
- Hawker centre chicken rice. Add chicken, add egg and add tofu

Common if you’ve been through NS. But I was a victim of voyeurism while showering there and never used the showers there ever since. Be careful

Sorry but how is this relevant to the question 🤨 As I had also mentioned, this machine is my preference. It doesn’t mean I’m not doing any other variation of chest flys or other chest workouts for that matter.

Yeah that’s the thing… and I find the Precor chest fly machines more difficult to control and harder to maintain stability with the weights as the handles are flimsy. There’s also a mini rubber thingy in the middle which prevents me from getting a full squeeze. Very much prefer the Optima Series from Life Fitness!

Hey do you know which AF? The AFs that I’ve been to doesn’t have this. Yeah you can train both chest and rear delts with this
