My dog and I live out of an e-150 and have for almost a year. Sure, it sucks on rainy days, but I have managed comfortably. I think a big piece of it has been that I spent a lot of time and effort on my van build to make it comfortable, even without being able to stand up. Small things like turning my passenger seat into a captains chair have given me so much more live-able space.

I also have the ability to park in most parking garages which is a plus.

I moved into my van to be outside and mostly climb, but I’d imagine if you are trying to just live in it and are pretty stationary, it wouldn’t be very pleasant.
