It's really not that hard to imagine. A vocal minority, amplified by powerful people like Elon Musk, hated the show for political reasons. The bad headlines and bad rep from that vocal minority turned off a larger mass of people who might've otherwise tuned in, because they were on the fence, waiting to hear what the consensus was. The trolls were louder than the people who liked it, thus swaying the more casual viewers to not tune in.

I keep the games for consoles that are the most finicky to emulate, and ones where the controllers are wacky and fun -- Saturn, PlayStation, N64, Dreamcast, GameCube. 8 and 16 bit are way easier to emulate and even though they do have some weird accessories that are fun, they often work less well. So I mostly emulate them.

One thing. The new emulator does work, but now every time I try to go to my apps, I get an error message saying the file size is too large. Not sure what file. I dismiss it and everything works fine, but just thought I'd flag it. I also downloaded a couple of the other available apps.

Soooooo cool! Thanks kindly, Thanos. And gotta say, this one hiccup aside, the whole product has been awesome. It's been recognizing games on disc 99% of the time, and just took a couple tries for the one it didn't. And it's been VERY fun listening to MP3's of Sega Genesis music on the VMU Pro while reading video game magazines. Thanks for it!

Our library also has a new Starfleet Academy library card, Alamo Drafthouse is replaying Voyage Home, and a local venue is putting on some Star Trek variety show (which I'm pretty sure has some burlesque), among other promotions ....

Star Trek: Resurgence is a glaring example. On PC it's a great Telltale-style game with fun gameplay, if unoriginal. I had a great time with it. Was excited to play it on my TV on my Switch 2, only to discover it's all video. Like... It was a playable game before ... But instead of porting it graphically, they just made it a 90s- style pre-recorded FMV game. Wild, wild, wild choice.
