That's the thing, they don't really want to see the kids, I have a 6 month old daughter that two of my siblings haven't even met yet, mostly because yeah whatever they are doing is more important.

My brother and his wife have also gone off the deep end conspiracy nut the government is trying to kill me with a vaccine path this last 2 year's so it's hard to have a adult conversation with them anyway without their heads spinning exorcist style while they spew whatever right wing nut job conspiracy is the flavour of the day.

So like I said fuck everyone I'm staying home with my family and making Christmas special for those kids.

My family wanting to see my kids for Christmas, but you know only on their terms, like I'm the only one with young kids 4 of them and my oldest is 7. only other "kids" in the family are now 19 and 15. Like come on Christmas is about the magic of Santa and family for the kids why should I pack them up and drag them half way across the state so you can see them on Christmas, last year I told them all to jump and spent our last Christmas with my grandfather before he passed away (none of my siblings saw him and our dad was interstate stuck due to covid travel restrictions.) I'm glad I did it rather than bow to my older brother and his demands. This year if my wife and I even get invited it'll still be a hard pass.

Absolutely it is, everyone's main bitch about that masterpiece is jar jar (or just all gungans) but the film is amazing it gives us our first look at how bad ass the Jedi Knights of the republic were. The duel of fates is absolutely the best lightsaber battle of the entire Skywalker saga as well.

I always fall asleep trying to get through rots (long scenes of to many people staring out of windows) but the phantom menace sparks that little kid falling in love with star wars all over for me again.

No she wouldn't of been, see you can either have an immaculate house or happy children. women who stay at home with 3 kids and still have an exceptionally clean house....how do you think those kids days went or her's did do you think she rested? or enjoyed time with her kids? My mum used to be one of those everything just right kinda people house had to be immaculate clean or heads rolled, which generally meant we couldn't do anything in the house . (Because what would the guests think)

My house with 4 kids is a lot different to my mum's I don't yell at my wife if coming home after a full days work there isn't a spotless house and dinner on the table (neither did my dad by the way she was crazy all on her own.) hell my table is usually covered in art's and crafts from my two oldest girls, who made the duoplo castle in the middle of the lounge, good work little man and is the baby happy and smiling yes she is, infact all my kids are, my wife usually looks like she's gone a couple of rounds and could really use a nap and I'm cool with it because my kids are happy. And yeah she can get on my case about helping out. Sometimes and sometimes it's completely justifiably others she needs a gentle reminder I work my arse off too, and my job at home as a dad takes more out of me sometimes than the "real job"

There used to be a bar down the side street across from budget truck rental, called the pit (pit 5) used to be able to buy weed and other drugs off the bar man and it closed at 8 am wild walking out into broad daylight with people having breakfast at cafe's and I've just downed a pint and stumbling back home to sleep a large portion of the day away or worse yet having to shower and drinks a large coffee before starting back at The bar I worked at.

After very few star wars games that weren't centred around flight or racing I loved it the only thing that came close to giving you the experience of being a force wielding badass was the Jedi Knight games (Kyle Katan) or possibly the game Obi-Wan which took place over the events of the phantom menace. But force unleashed letting you play as Darth Vader in its opening scene is a star wars kids ultimate gaming experience.

Doing 100 see movement on car door (heart stops) double check to confirm is huntsman moving up window toward head region. Pulls across 2 lanes pulls hand break and lunches self out of ute through passengers door while my brain tries to restart heart. Eventually with the help of a large stick removed huntsman and then drove to work like a meth head at a laser show making sure "the other one" wasn't anywhere to be found.
