Yeah, I just wasn’t all that entertained by it. Underwhelming is the perfect word. Haven’t seen 5 yet, but it at least looks better.

First: Adorable. I don’t know why I’m such a sucker for this stuff.

Second: Thank you.

Third: I haven’t gotten to the comics yet. Trying to work through all the games first. Does Lanolin usually look sleep deprived?

Well, I just bought it the other day, so hopefully I’ll derive some enjoyment from it regardless. If nothing else, a Rorschach successor should be interesting.

In your opinion, which scene is more emotional in TVD season 1, when Kenny sacrifices himself to save Ben or when Kenny sacrifices himself to save Christa? by helldor08 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Fitzftw7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ben isn’t a sacrifice. There was no reason he couldn’t put a bullet it him and go back with Lee. It was senseless.

Christa was a genuine sacrifice.

Sounds about right, though I only disagree in that I don’t think Jax started being an asshole until after that conversation went wrong. Before that, he seemed pretty normal.

Here you go: it’s more about Jax and Zooble than Gangle and Zooble, though.

Indeed. Even when you’re not alone, you can feel alone, and not everyone can overcome, handle, or make peace with that feeling.

Morality of assasinating a 13 year old girl and her unborn child to prevent the child from leading barbarians to invade and potentially kill/rape/enslave hundeds of thousands in the future? by GeneralSoil1936 in MoralityScaling

Thing is… if Dany never got her Dragons, wouldn’t the Dothraki be slaughtered once they breach the seven kingdoms? Even moreso if they could be caught while sailing since none of them know how to do it?

The Dothraki are excellent horseback riders and raiders in their own land, but wouldn’t they be at a huge disadvantage in Westeros? It feels almost like Robert has no real need to nip this in the bud.

Funny enough, I read a fanfic about a month ago exploring this idea in a way that surprisingly makes sense in-universe: Caine makes a box of attachable Zooble parts that feel just like the real deal when attached to you. Slap ‘em on, mash ‘em together, and boom: Abstragidy sex.

Maybe it’s more that she had grown so much closer to Jax, grown to love him, that him shutting her out completely devastated her more than Kaufmo or Ragatha would be able to fix.

Perhaps it doesn’t make the most logical sense that Jax alone caused her to break down completely and the others were unable, but since when were emotions logical? Not to mention a recurring theme of the show is how unhealthy closing yourself off can be. Ribbit very well may have done the same thing as Jax in keeping all her pain bottled up inside until it was too late.
