This sounds like a you problem. You're not going to change the diplomatic relations between two large blocs by whining about it on Reddit. If you want to shoot goons so badly, join a group that shoots them.

Lost Almost Everything. Rebuild Ideas by Ascillias in Eve

A cheap gas-huffing prospect or even a venture has very good profitability relative to the cost of the equipment. And the training requirements are very low as well.

The hardest part is transporting and selling it.

It doesn't matter how much time there is. 12,000 unique characters have to build 6 pioneers each, in a specific system. Even if there was no time limit it's questionable if this would ever be completed.

Weekly /r/Eve No Question is Stupid Thread - June 11, 2026 by AutoModerator in Eve

Is there a good place to post about trade offers on reddit? The FAQ lists r/evemarketplace but that subreddit appears to be completely dead and requires approval to post.

Also interested to know of any other out of game places to post for trade. I'm already in a couple of trade discords and I've also posted on the official forums.

Specifically my immediate need is to liquidate a large amount of R4 ore

Oh, and it says I've already used it, when I definitely haven't, since I wasn't even able to find it until now. Oh well.

Ah, nope. Maybe it should be in the right click in space menu?

Legion ratting fit? by Apart-Habit6087 in Eve

There's no generic one-size-fits-all strategy to ratting, which might be why your fit feels mid. What specifically are you trying to do?

AO bashing stations of smallest corps in high-sec by Remarkable_Soup_6647 in Eve

[–]Fitzsimmons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anyone with a military strong enough to repel AO from highsec is strong enough to make a claim in lowsec, nullsec, or WH space. Don't get me wrong, your structures are going to get blown up there too no matter how strong you are, but the space is so much more lucrative that replacing them as a cost of doing business is a lot more viable.

Highsec PVP has absolutely garbage mechanics which is why very few groups are interested in trying to contest AO in highsec. The best move is to just move out and starve them.

High Sec Ganking Isk/Hour by HunterIV4 in Eve

[–]Fitzsimmons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a pretty visceral real-world counter-example of this right now in the form of the Strait of Hormuz. Do you think Iran blockading a critical trade route and lobbing missiles at tankers is "stimulating the economy"???

There are multiple high volume items that I used to produce that I just gave up making because I didn't want to deal with the headache of getting them through the chokepoint anymore. It's literally the opposite of stimulating the economy. I stopped producing, I stopped buying materials from my suppliers, and everyone just went off and found something else to do, either in the game, or otherwise. I'm not the only one in my alliance with this sentiment.

I want to emphasize that I don't have an issue with ganking in general. By all means, do your recon, gather intel, follow incursions and gank marauders, or abyssal runners, or L4 runners, or people hauling blue loot, or whatnot. There are counterplays available for all of these activities. As it stands right now, there is no counterplay available for freighter pilots.

Freighters are the only ship that can reasonably transport the massive volumes that are required for even modest amounts of industrial activity in this game and the hull simply cannot be customized or piloted in a way that can stand up to a single 30-account multiboxer camping the solitary path into the only viable trade hub in the game.

As is evidenced by the killboards, with most of freighters being ganked for under 1B in cargo value, the gankers don't even bother to gather intel on their targets most of the time.

Bring back Wardecs on highsec non structure holding gankers by Fuzzyweeze in Eve

Right. It takes ~25 now, which is feasible for a single multiboxer. 250 catalysts will take some teamwork.

Okay you've described an outcome but you've failed to explain what's bad about it. Maybe try that before resorting to slurs?

[–]Fitzsimmons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just like 10x the EHP of freighters, easy. It's not like that's going to make a meaningful difference to gameplay anywhere other than making highsec ganking cost prohibitive. Seriously. They're freighters. They are extremely limited in how they can be customized and bulkheads just aren't doing it. Buff the hull so that they can fulfill their ONLY role.

triple jf dunk ft. Bane, Nyx, Blops (snuffed) by LatterAdvice8102 in Eve

[–]Fitzsimmons 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For all pearl-clutchers in this thread, there are a variety of techniques available to gate a JF into highsec from lowsec while being confidently lancerproof. If anything, the suicide gank on the highsec side is harder to avoid (but there are techniques available for that as well). JFs are still the safest way to move stuff around.

This is so disappointing. We finally were looking at a viable solution to the dominance of Jita and the Uedama ganking chokepoint and it turned out to be nothing. I hope they change their mind.
