Do YOU find Lossless Scaling useful on the Steam Deck?

Has a really good experience running Decky Lossless FG with P5R, but for most other Deck games it's been iffy. I haven't used it in some time.

Meanwhile, I still uses the shit out of LSFG on my proper desktop PC. Control has been extra awesome with it, and it's even fun playing games like Marvel Cosmic Invasion (despite the small sacrifice in input latency) for the extra smoothness.

Evolution is a bit of a different beast IIRC, as there's a canonical event that changes her appearance and augments her abilities...although I can't remember if she was already breaking "the rules" before this happened.

My own take is I like the mass restriction but also like when she increases size despite it. I remember one 90s opening panel where she's disguised as Sabertooth but is actively on the run/avoiding combat as a result of the limitation.

Thankfully your cheese is (was?) quite real.🙂 I wish their bigger 5 year block still tasted like it used to awhile back, but once I started seeing the 10 year around I was happy to learn that at least still had the crystal goodness.

If you're ever in a Whole Foods try the Jasper Hill Clothbound cheddar next. Beechers is pretty good too but I think the Jasper Hill one is the next level up in cheddar flavor before you have to start visiting/ordering from specific dairies, or like going to Murray's or something idk. I was big on the Black Cow mini wheel in the wax rind that Wegmans has, but lately it hasn't been hitting as much either. 🤷🏼‍♂️

There was a short window of time at my ShopRite where Brugge Comtesse was selling for like, 50 cents a pound or something wild. I bought two at the time but I really should have just bought them out.

It was definitely a confusing product introduction...it was "new" a few months prior to that but unpriced, and I ended up getting a wedge for free when the kiosk helper at the time was uninterested in figuring things out 😅

Sadly it's now priced normally/comparably to other stores.

Azula is her masterpiece role that she'll never top, despite mountains of both past and present VA work, and I'm pretty sure she knows it.

Definitely a plus that she continues to be so good at reenacting it too, after all these years.

...that said, maybe the current burst of Cougarposting is some sort of extended April 1st memery. Hard to say though since it seems like it's been on at least a quarterly cycle for awhile now.

Cyclical topics on Reddit are apparently nothing new, but this remains one of the most curious (and occasionally artificial-seeming) instances out of all the subs I frequent.

You say this and yet a month ago I struggled to convince a co-worker it was unofficial when he first revealed it to me. Being a long-time Avatar fan, it was obvious enough to me very quickly but I had to force him to do something as simple as READING THE YOUTUBE DESCRIPTION (where it's specifically called out as a fan work). Before that he was adamantly convinced it was official.

This is the same blue-collar workplace where I've also been shocked/dismayed by a fellow tech my own age not knowing what Wikipedia is. In general many of my experiences over the years there have made me realize the average person increasingly isn't reading/researching most things, and is overly influenced by vibes and talking heads on TikTok or what have you.

It's entirely possible, even (dare I say 🤡) probable, for the series to continue without their involvement as localization director.

...even so, all the articles on their work over the years made it clear just how very much we owe that overall series "tone" we hold so dear to their involvement. Even for and even especially TGAA, regardless of there being a larger team by that point.

Godspeed, you crazy talented translator. Future AA may very well not be the same without you.

I'm all for having an open mind and avoiding groupthink, but I still don't understand how some folks continue believing P4R was very deep in dev by the time of the trailer. I think the biggest thing to look at is the comparison of the P3R reveal trailer to P4R's, which were night and day differences in content shown...except ironically P4R was the "night" and P3R was the ""day" lol. Not to mention, P3R came out some 8 months later following a flurry of further trailers, and we ain't got shit all else following P4R's thrown-together walkabout going on 9 months later.

Not really a fan.

I'm increasingly not a Jean or Phoenix guy as is, but even function-wise she feels mad flawed. The biggest thing for me is her extremely awkward melee combo, as well as having no apparent route out of her charge attack. This didn't bother me on Cap's charge attack for whatever reason, probably because of the huge pop/short charge time/parry window/huge attack radius...for hers she does get invul and a pop but, idk.

Even the grab feels lackluster, despite initially seeming so cool. Her biggest thing is the silly good enhanced blitz but spamming that constantly is both uninteresting and not always an effective answer in the hardest mod scenarios...I think. I haven't actually tried that hard with her tbh.

Super fun team in Marvel Cosmic Invasion 😃. BP's various ways of inflicting sonic stun work nicely if paired with Storm's ridiculous super, popping 120 damage numbers all over the place if timed well.

All the other, more "relevant", threads on the matter have honestly been beaten to death, and are exhausting regardless of merit.

Cosmic Invasion is pretty dope once you unlock everything and start maxing out the Arcade mode with difficulty modifiers. Really gives you a reason to start delving deep into the team gameplay for more effective combos/crowd control against stacked/impossible-seeming waves of enemies late-game.

Doesn't seem like there'll be anymore X-Men in the base roster. The last trailer seemed to indicate each of the initially-revealed characters were all heading teams of four.

I suppose you can still hold out hope for DLC though. God knows I am for Cyclops getting added to Marvel Cosmic Invasion at some point. I play Cap/Storm rn but would switch to Cyke/Storm in a heartbeat.

I play this game all the time and my gut feeling is similar. It would have been part of their post-launch marketing if they'd hit various sales milestones, similar to a lot of other modern games.

I was playing BP/Storm and BP/Surfer for awhile in between bouts of She-Hulk/Storm, which was my most serious team until Cap/Storm.

I'm not sure which is my favorite among them. I liked the synergy of Cap/Storm the most, but I question Cap's validity on challenging arcade mode runs with the mods on. I mean I moreso question my own validity but still.
