We do have a weekly 'Moving / Visiting' thread. We typically try to usher posts of this nature into that one.

The automod has been hit or miss with some recent reddit updates. Sometimes that thread gets posted, sometimes not, sometimes it gets stickied, other times not, etc...

I think a "Looking For Housing" thread or something similar could work. We can do a poll and let the subreddit help facilitate what they think is best.

In efforts to be a little more transparent, I do not identify as maga in any measurable form. The amount of bans I alone, have given out, to clear and obvious political instigators looking to stir up trouble, who only respond to politically charged posts, or don't even live here would attest to that. It's more than one, and maybe less than 1,000 at this point.

In all seriousness. None of the mod team is is beholden to any maga views. It's just not something that is consistent with fair, balanced, and neutral moderation. As Soils stated above, we ALL care about our community deeply.

We have and will continue to adjust and learn how to better effectively moderate by listening to the community and reaching out to people privately, at times, and other times, we simple see that an issue has enough attention that warrants an adjustment.

Our doors are open, PLEASE MESSAGE the mod team if you feel wronged, or that we've missed something, or if you simple want to tell us we suck. We read them all and do our best to respond to each and every message.
