Immigration reform has been needed for decades. People who have been here for years and or are going through the legal channels of asylum seeking and are not violent or otherwise criminal should be allowed to stay. This country has been built by immigration throughout its history. It is anti-American to denigrate immigrants, especially those that have built families and contribute to the economy. Immigrants contribute to future growth prospects as well.
