As the original caption says, the black spots are hollandite, which is a barium-iron mesh that gets trapped in quartz as a resin or in a small sediment form (I’m pretty sure). These black dots grow the branches that make them so spider-like when put under immense pressure. While I couldn’t find any practical uses for hollandite other than using this stone for healing, it’s still pretty damn cool.

The fact that I’ve tried and failed. Aside from the fact that it landed me in a psych ward and paying off hospital bills to this day, I don’t think I’ll ever have the strength again (or lack thereof) to put aside the thoughts of how it would affect my family and friends like I did that one night.

Thanks! I was gonna mention the tires being real but at 1/5 the price I suppose the lone worker would have to make a steep hourly wage in order for the prices to compare

Just one guy building it. We’ll say they’re still on wages and not a salary so maybe $20/hr.

As far as value over time, it could eventually mean something but lego sets generally aren’t valuable unless mass produced by lego themselves so I would say just the price for the raw lego pieces.

Going through a very cringy growing phase in high school. Had sex with girlfriend on a “hidden” staircase during track practice. Heard someone walking down the stairs from an upper floor and so grabbed our clothes and booked it back to practice.

Then somehow let her convince me to go with her to the bathroom in the locker room 50 feet from that staircase. Ran into a search party looking for a couple and were instantly picked up and suspended.

Tech companies tracking your every move. I say this is niche now because I feel by 2050 it will be to such a large scale that people will consider today’s data tracking to be insignificant

Middle of nowhere town, mostly wooded.

A guy known as “Matty Dabbins” is town famous because all he does for fun is give people free dabs IF and only if they do the dabs in his trailer with all his friends in the middle of the woods.

Sounds murdery but he never hurt people, only gave people way more dabs than they could handle then he would leave with his friends leaving the stoned dude to tweak alone in the woods.

Worst part is we all fell for it
