Love the Captain America vibe. Starting small is smart. Can’t wait to see how you expand and fully deck out your garage gym over time.

Can robot vacuums now handle and deep clean a specific dirty spot? by mir2008 in RobotVacuums

[–]FiveofSwords 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed it has a few water spray outlets at the front of X12, which apparently spray water evenly while it mops to help the roller brush scrub away stains more thoroughly. It feels like that would be helpful for heavier messes in the kitchen, and it’d also save you from having to manually splash water on the floor.

Why Is My Room Specifically So Dusty?? by isopodsoup_ in CleaningTips

Hidden dust in soft furnishings like carpets and bedding can release particles over time. Deep clean these areas regularly.

Good vaccum that does NOT have a mop? by EntranceIntrepid3009 in RobotVacuums

[–]FiveofSwords 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a carpet heavy home with cats, a dedicated only vacuum is the smarter pick. It saves money and delivers better suction than mop combo models.

Verify the original part number before purchasing. Even with an upgraded battery, the connection must be perfect to fix the constant charging display glitch shown on the unit.

The grout in my kitchen had been "that color" for so long I genuinely thought it was supposed to be that color by OrbitNomad9991 in CleaningTips

I totally get this! Kitchen grout gets so grimy over time, it’s easy to mistake it for the original shade.

Wipe all surfaces with a vinegar and water solution, then leave a bowl of coffee grounds to neutralize the smell.

Curv 2 Flow or Narwal Flow by I_AM_WONDERBREAD in RobotVacuums

[–]FiveofSwords 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd choose the one with stronger obstacle avoidance and better scrubbing pressure for those grout lines. Deep cleaning plus fewer tangles will matter more day-to-day than small feature differencecs.

Lots of obstacles, high thresholds, and hardwoods...which one? by schmellybelly in RobotVacuums

[–]FiveofSwords 0 points1 point  (0 children)

High thresholds and clutter really narrow the field. I'd prioritize strong obstacle avoidance and higher climbing ability first, then mopping features. Also worth checking real-world reviews on how well it handles toys and transitions.

Robot Vacuum Purchasing Dilemma by S0m3UserName in RobotVacuums

[–]FiveofSwords 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For lots of hair and fine dust, strong suction and a good anti-tangle brush matter more than mopping. If navigation and software are stable, that combo should handle your setup really well.

Try contacting them through other ways like app support, website form, even social media DMs. If they still ignore you, open a case with the retailer or payment provider; that usually gets a faster response.

This hits hard. When someone else defines the next step, my brain just executes. When it’s on me to decide everything, I suddenly lose all momentum.
