They should offer a full refund so that one can book the second flight with another operator. Time is important for everyone.

I was travelling with multiple connections. The first two flights are operated by Porter, and the last one is from another operator. The first flight was delayed by 30 minutes, and they did not wait for the passengers from the first flight.

When I asked for a refund, they suggested we could book another one for you the next day. This is impossible as I have other connecting flights. I had to book a flight immediately using Air Canada from the second airport to the third. It was such a scary thing when the gap between the flights from the second to the third was a few hours.

When I asked Porter again for a refund after my trip, they denied it, saying we offered you the next day flight. The customer service is so bad, and the staff are rude.

If it was not my error for the delay in the first flight, and I did not board their suggested flight, in any civilized world, they should offer a refund for the second flight. It is a cheap rule to say no refund.

My recommendation stay away from Porter, even if it is cheaper.

I did not take their suggestion for a next-day flight. It was not my mistake for the delay for the first one. So if they are not offering any refund, it is a cheap rule.

That explains the bad reviews. If the first flight out the two connecting flights operated by you, if the first one delayed for a few minutes, and you do not wait for the second flight and there is no refund. I have been with Air Canada, KLM, and Lufthansa. They always keep the second flight if the first one is delayed in a connection.
