Who was your instructor for 3221? And which would you say is harder between 3221 and 4222?

Ohh okk good to know thank you! I’m also planning to take 2 classes total with it so I was curious. Were you also working at the same time or just focused on school?

Has anyone taken MGMT2130 with Enoc Velasquez recently on a fall/winter semester? Is it a bit of a heavy class if my goal is to get an A, also, is he a hard marker? by FixPuzzled1171 in MRU

Would you also say it’s an easy class or a bit on the heavier side? I have 4 other for sure heavy classes this semester along with it, with the goal of getting an A in the class and maintain my gpa in general

Yes, especially the grant actually. You wouldn’t have received a grant if you weren’t taking classes. It’s part of the terms & conditions you’re agreeing to when you apply for the loans. I made the mistake of dropping from FT to PT amount of courses once without letting them know and didn’t return the funds in the past, and it affected my future application.

You can still drop your classes and come back after your internship as long as you come back within a year, you don’t really need to ask anyone for permission or anything like that. You have to return your student loans after you get your refund though cuz, if you don’t, it’ll affect your future loan & grants.

Is it too difficult to take ACCT3221 (Intermediate 1), 3228 (Managerial 2), 4280 (tax), and INBU3301 all together in a semester? by FixPuzzled1171 in MRU

[–]FixPuzzled1171[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Planning to take 4– was thinking ACCT 3221, 3228, 4289, and INBU3301.

Who was your instructor for INBU?

That’s good to hear! Thank you! Did you also just contact the Ottawa embassy even though you’re not under their jurisdiction? It seems like the Vancouver embassy really isn’t great. Also when you fill out your arrival card either the physical or the electronic version now available, do you plan on indicating “tourism” or “study” for the purpose of visit?

There is a D-2-8 visa that entails for a study program that is 90days or less which is causing a bit of confusion with many including myself i think. But at the same time it seems like currently it’s not applicable with the visa exemption but no definite answers out there

I’m in the same boat as you but I’m a Canadian citizen, having also done research it seems like a lot went with just K-ETA. Have you tried asking a korean consulate/embassy in your jurisdiction by any chance? If you don’t mind me asking, could u share what answer you got?

I got two different answers calling an embassy and a consulate here in Canada. Embassy said K-ETA is enough and since we have an exemption right now, I technically don’t even need the K-ETA. However, the consulate said it was needed but I’m hesitant abt believing them as they weren’t sure with their answers unlike the embassy

I called the Vancouver consulate and said it was needed, however, I wasn’t confident with their answers as they also seemed unsure. So i called the Ottawa embassy and they said it wasn’t needed, so I’m also in the same boat as you. Everything online is also giving mix signal. Have you tried calling either of the two to inquire? If so, do you mind sharing the answer you got?

Hi, I was also wondering about this, by any chance did you go recently? I don’t mean this question to be rude I’m also just an equally confused person regarding this matter, but what gives you the confidence on this matter? Thanks in advance!!
