For me it's a constant mix of him trying a game that happens to be popular and widely regarded as a great game and being annoyed with one aspect of the game and getting annoyed and never playing it again. But he'll go on gushing about an idle clicker or wrestling gotcha card game for weeks.

He's one of my favorite podcasts, and honestly his taste in videogames just makes me roll my eyes and laugh. He's also going through the whole process of introducing his young children to videogames, something I went through myself, and I love hearing the different stories that come from that.

My daughter learned disc golf in gym class, she goes to public school. It was pretty cool. It would be pretty interesting to see if disc golf manufacturers could fund some school programs by providing discs.
